If you dress 3 you wont forfeit, so normally what you would do is buy a scrub for 1k and fire him right after so as not to pay his salary. But, there will also be a gameshape reset in the offseason as well as befor the first game, so you shouldnt worry about it and just play your team.

Right. Normally it might make sense to warn you that if you set the lineup too far in advance and one of the three gets injured and is unavailable, that might then be a forfeit if you don't fix it, but injuries reset before the next scrimmage so you're in like Flint.

Injuries will be reset today, (Monday, 8/20), for S21.
After that, the next one won't happen until the S21->S22 off-season processing.
