The 2nd on the elections will take over. If only 1 candidate got votes then unfortunately we have to wait until the end of the season.

please find a solution for this problem (for the future), it sucks to have a player on a national team that does not utilize him properly...

Well there is nothing that we can do actually. Some users stop to play the game for any reason, then we are asking the other candidates. If they refuse, we cant do anything else other than wait for the next elections.

If that is the case why don't they just appoint people that have shown an affinity for the game? Seriously, it makes sense to make sure that someone steps in and takes over. Not having a NT can mean that a country is not going to have a growing BB community. NT managers can have a huge role in encouraging there country men to build solid players and stick with the game. Without a 'leader' these countries could flounder even more than they already might.

I say that the GM's should just have the ability to contact managers that they know are qualified and place them in. Obviously this is only the case if there were no candidates, but I say fix it asap.

FTW I would be happy to take on a NT for a short term like this. It would be great experience and help determine if I would ever want to take the time and effort to run in a larger community like Canada :)

Well on the 1st country, as you said no other candidates. On the 2nd country, we have already contacted with the 2 other candidates, and they have refused to take over. So we have to wait the upcoming elections to address the problem.

For me is sad what is happening, especially that i am coming from a small community being the current NC. I wish i could do something more, but this is beyond my powers as a GM.

Maybe a higher lvl staff can give you a better answer.

I think there should be the option to start a new vote if

1) the team has no manager
2) the managers popularity falls below a certain percentage (maybe this would make sense only for bigger countries)

The 2nd exists, on some way since if the manager popularity falls to 25%, then the 2nd on the elections is taking over.

Actually, no, this is not the case, that has not been implemented.

Thanks for the reply.

I am hopeful that a higher level staff member will chime in, because it seems to be a real issue with a simple solution. I understand that hand picking coaches is not ideal, but at least it could stimulat some of those nations that are struggling.

No, but sometimes unexpected things happen - accidents, illness, promotions, etc. - and people can spend less or no time with the game compared to the situation before. In this case the problem is neither the coaches' nor the communities' fault.
