just increase merchandising for teams with NT players
the final effect would be the same, but it's a more realistic way to implement it IMO

it would more realistic, but the net effect would still be the same… if your incomes increase by X or your expenses decrease by X it's exactly the same thing.


i know, i said it myself
but it would be a more acceptable way to put it since it seems it's gonna happen no matter what

Wrong, because with inefficient training your whole team becomes worse. You are making one player better slowly, while your team could be improving much faster. So your NT player gets better, your teams gets worse than it could be, so you don't win more W's than you would.

It compensates at least a little. Doesn't make it an economical advantage, but at least avoids an economical disaster for the team.

Dude, you say that having NT players with salary discounts would be giving a financial advantage to the teams that have them, and I say that It is NOT. This is a mathematical thing, and it's very simple. I think the BBs know the economy system of BB better than all of us together, and plus they are pretty smart, so they will know what needs to be done.

When I read through this topic I see a lot of potential problems (and solutions) that arise if NT match mode is changed. So again I would like to ask:

What is wrong with arcade and why does this option needs to be changed?

Is it only the incentive that managers want to be rewarded for having NT players? I think that using arcade can best be used to see which team really is the best.

Dunno when it will be done but today there isn't necessity to make this "free" contribution. Probably neither in the future if the injury will be cancelled from National team matchs, that's my point of view ;)

It's not arcade mode to begin with, so to have it arcade mode would necessitate a change.

I read every single post on this thread and...mmh..let's see what I'll write!

- Salary reduction is not necessary NOW: I think that NT player's salaries are not so high to justify a reduction, in particular because now a 40k-salary player makes difference.
I agree to raonne when he said that it will be not the fairest thing tryin' to train a 25yo player and sacrifice a slot in order to a patriottic desire to be on top of the world.
Maybe there will be some 21-22yo players who'll give you more W than one only 25yo national player and if we combine that unpleasent possibility to the slowness of training pops then I'll agree giving some reward, but now it's not necessary.

- Now our transfer list is totally crazy: there are some very bad prices, there are some very low prices, bad players, strong players and I really don't understand nothing about how people decide to spend their money.
There are too much money in my opinion and I totally disagree about the introduction of another crazy unsteady and another crazy amount of money.
That until we can see a right market balance.

- Joining another economy-topic: I think that introduct a reduction will get the birth to a very sickening NT trading, above all for little nation or for players who have the possibility to stay in bench just like to stay at home.
And without talking strictly about trading, having a NT player gives you a clear advantage when you're approaching to sale him.
People spend so much money for a NT player, and they will spend quite a lot than earlier because they'll calculate to recover that outcome by the reduction of the salary.
All of this is an advantage for the previous owner, who will count his money like Scrooge Mc Duck.

Well, in conclusion I'm absolutely against any reduction for the next 1 or 2 seasons.
