I am not sure if you scouted this already but there is a new team is in my league now and he started off with a pair of pretty decent trainees. Not sure how active he will be though.

(35148574)--This guy could definitely make U21 if trained properly, pretty good potential and decent starting salary and a bonus thats hes 7"1

(35148579)--Not too sure about this guy Amazing salary and potential, but seems a bit old, will not be able to make U21 but maybe(?) have a shot at NT even though he may behind a season or two.

20 year old - no chance.
18 year old. Unlikely as he has already missed almost 1/2 a season of training in his fastest training year. Still very worth training.

Cletus is right.
And wrong.
If players can make the U21 by age 20.It means guys who are 19 can make it. It also means that
missing a 3/8 of a season isn't terrible.

It also means one or several people didn't properly train someone of equal/better skill from the start of age 18 and had their player passed.

As long as that 18 year old (who has yet to train) has like 3 JS/OD/PAS, he could get a 5 week injury tonight and would still make U21 if he got consistent training from that point on. But I agree it's unlikely he'll get consistent training and won't make it, which is expected since he's probably behind others anyway.

Your trainees are awesome and far from the norm. U21 players don't necessarily have to be great and multi-skilled like the players you're training for senior NT.

Agreed, it's sad lately Canada hasn't even had primary monsters (say OD/JS/PA for guards) that can feature in U21 play. People are getting on the team without even making the minimums set forth for training.

With a little more cash in my Utopia team, I'll buy some more Canadian draftees. Next draft or next next draft.

That's what I'm talking about.
You are right about everything here.
I try to help but, nobody responds.
