Everyone knows all too well how much I hate being the obvious favorite.

Said very much tongue-in-cheek... right?

Look at this war of attrition already starting in the JBBL West (a.k.a great 8).

the cup is so important for the income and training that it is indirectly leading to league losses.

But the better the competition, the better BB gets...oh and 140k merchandizing...feels so good.

But along with that comes the responsiblity of keeping FOUR guys in good shape and continually trained. And that is not easy by any stretch of the imagination.

All things considered, im am really enjoying bb this season. Its nice to have teams around that can and will catch you slipping.

Its also nice to have guys around committed to training NT Players.

I say we create a pact amoung nt players training in the Jbbl to do our best to help each other get full training. Im down with that. Playoffs or cup, no holds barred...but if any of you are running a trainee at a position and want me to run my trainee there...and you agree to not look inside, im down.

cause winning is hard enough when you are training.

...sure is nice to have a bot in the cup...sorry i had to be the dream ender for two managers ;-)

Somebody let me a hold a no. 2 pencil cause they testin' me.

Well... commiserations on that, but I really don't understand what you're trying to do.
It's got me beat why you're so desparate. You've been playing for a single season, and lucked into II.1 at it's weakest in ... well, perhaps ever.
Again, this is only my opinion, but I think you've gone about this completely wrong: spending vast amounts of money on purchasing players, without a single serious build of your arena. 7.5k arena?
How much money are you making a week?

Honestly, for the long-term success of your team... winning a few games at JBBL level is not at all what you should be focused upon.

I lost to Northern Kyushu Ramen Kings.

Oh the shame, I have brought dishonor to my ancestors.

All things considered, im am really enjoying bb this season. Its nice to have teams around that can and will catch you slipping.

Totally agree, it is a fun season.

I do have some reasons for losing to malice though.
21 year old foul prone trainee playing at C.
KK forced to play PF where he isn't his best.
Sonoda forced to play SF where he is very weak.
Pogonyaylo forced to play PG where he is good but SF is his best spot.
malice put in more effort.
I lose by 1!!!

It looks like I will be picking up a few losses while I am doing this training this season.

Malice is right. It is your team so you can do what you want but if you want to join the big guys as fast as you can I would look at a 3 season plan.

Season 22 make money & train.Build a 20,000 seat arena. Get a $1,000,000 draft pick.
Season 23 dominate some bots in d2. Train your young stars. Even going 22/0 have a fair chance of getting another $1,000,000 draft pick.
Season 24 promote back to the JBBL, spend your $1,000,000 on a serious player and jump into the elite.

Player Salaries Floor: $ 333 833
You should make it a 100% certainty that every week you are under this.

Players are assets. They go up in value as you train them. They go down as they get older. Here are your four big salaried guys.

Saverio Comandini (20687025) $106k/week 24 probably capped. You could sell him for a lot.
Mauricio Barticciotto (14885466) $105k/week 27 too old to train. Similar.
Arkady Mokhnatkin (14864279) $90k/week 27 same.

Can't see the value of these guys ging up so what are you paying for?

You have a player I would make the focus of your team. If I was you I would get 2 more guys like him, a level 6 trainer and make him a future star.

There is no way on earth he is making anywhere NEAR as much money as he should be. And it's INCREDIBLY short sighted: on his current path there's no way he ever competes at the top level in the JBBL.

I agree. I would sell 1 of the top 3 guys be below the salary floor, build his arena fast, train & be set up for the long term. He could even survive in the JBBL with a weak salary floor roster with a little planning. My salaries were around $512k/week most of last season even $485k/week for 3 weeks & I had the best record in the JBBL.

My starting PF was $52k/week salary but did well because he had the inside/outside skills most players couldn't match. I even sold him for a profit after the season. New players think the biggest salary is the best player, often not much else to go on but it can be misleading.

My salaries were only marginally above the salary floor last season, and I finished 5th, with some good wins.
Then again, my arena was nearly completed.
