Unfortunately not. Ideally what will happen is that the BBs select a final solution based on the feedback received and put it to a public yes/no vote.

Any chance you give us some rough estimations?

1. How likely is the merger going to happen? For example, are the BBs very intent on making it, and are currently just looking for a best solution? Or not really set in stone yet, and may not go with it at all.

2. Is it a long term plan, or planned to happen soon after decision is made? For example, is it going to happen in about two seasons, or the BBs will slowly develop it, and may happen in 5-7 seasons.

To stay on top, I need to have a long term plan for my team in place.

Edit: another user pointed me to your previous answer regarding this question.

He said earlier that if a merge is going to happen, it will happen in 1-2 calendar years.

ok thank you, I missed that, there is a lot of conversation here to read everything :)

And as far as smaller nations having it easier, financially they do. I don't even see how this is debatable.

Of course. It is only debated by a few managers from smaller nations who want to keep it that way. One of them is prominent recently in this very thread.

I agree. I think if they are truly aware of the gravity of the situation, for the smallest countries (<50 teams), I would hope they will be closer to 1 year. It takes a beating on the motivation when it is so few. Denmark seems to cope, but Island and Norway are having the blues.

It makes sense then, that big nations should also discuss this topic. sooner or later they could be confronted with the same question

//I hate my comment. In german we have a term for this: "Schwarzmalerei", which means something like paint a black picture/ fear-mongering/ beeing overly pessimistic...

everyone votes? Bigger nations who this doesn't really impact are going to basically make the decisions for us lil' guys?

I believe the term you're looking for here is, democracy.

And as far as smaller nations having it easier, financially they do. I don't even see how this is debatable.

You mean I should be able to vote for the US president IRL bc sometimes his decisions could affect the world? :D

Lol. No.

But you're free to move here and attempt to legally gain citizenship if you're that concerned.

A better comparison would be getting to vote in state elections. I can't vote in Florida or Kansas or Oregon. But when it comes to something affecting the whole I get to vote and so do those in Florida or Kansas or Oregon. This game is the whole, so even though we are separated for the majority of game interaction, the marketplace and possibility of more interaction affects the whole.

I have 1757 players for sale and I'm $25,835,360 in debt. Buy them at outrageous prices, or be selfish and make me go bankrupt. You decide, BB.
