I really didn't think so many people would be against 2nd team. Based only on those percentages I don't think BBs should make 2nd team for supporters an option (and I support the idea). But if they think 2nd team will bring more revenue in order to make the site even better, I think this result shouldn't stop them.

I think the majority of people voting against are afraid of "better" competition. Cowardly.

Considering that the majority of users voting comes of the most populous countries, I believe the cowardice and fear of competition is not one of the reasons ..

that might seem like an easy conclusion but strangely enough many posters here (from big countries) pointed out, that this feature might be an advantage for supporters, because they gain more experience from this.

i suppose the votings against this feature were made out of a very broad spektrum of reasons. there are people who fear for the effect this might have in lower leagues and for the integration of newbies. then there are ppl who are jealous of this feature somehow. other fear competition. some might vote against this because they prefer Utopia and didn't read the first post. there are many reasons i guess.
but i believe 'the cowardice and fear of competition' is probably one of this reasons ..

Hi,

Are you really enjoying the game with 8 "official" active users in South Africa ? In Senegal we are 11, and to me it's not enough to have fun...

Issues and possible solutions:
1. draft pick ordering enables second teams to tank and hog all the best trainees
- give draft priority to local teams

Possible new rules:
12. New Manager Bonus rule. Secondary teams do not get the 4 initial weekly $50 000 bonuses. The experience acquired by the managers in their primary teams should compensate for that.



If those two are implemented I'm personally not starting second team:
- fun with creating teams out of completely local trainees, with out need to buy veterans and still being highly competitive is completely taken way.
- new rule putting new team in significantly worst conditions compared to exiting teams in the league.

As a solution for first issue I would recommend to implement waiver draft where all draftees fired by secondary teams will be acquired for free by primary team with a next draft pick. Also they can be spread among primary teams randomly.
Same mechanism can apply if secondary team goes bot.

Advertisement
