Also, if he were to win this position, he would almost NEED access to the offsite forum. How would he be able to get game planning threads and roster discussion threads going? We can't do that onsite, thus the reason for the offsite.

Finally logged in to the off site.
Talk about unbelievably over-rated.
Especially the threads for U21
Can't do that onsite? - A couple of bbmails to or from the 3 or 4 currently interested parties would do it
Helpful I suppose but right now way way way over rated

Ill admit that the offsite forum isn't as active as It once was, but last season the NT was in cruise control, just LI/MtM/TIE/Blank every week with little possibility of failure. The U21 had 5 games where only one was even winnable and after that weeks of scrimmages. Obviously the interest will wane, but with GDP coming into effect and both teams heading into a period where there is more and more depth, roster discussions and gameplanning will become that much more important and it is just not feasible to do those types of things through BBmail, its better in a forum environement. Its easier in a forum environment, it helps make more of a community feeling and allows new uses to inject a comment whenever they want to. There isn't many users who post, but there are a bunch that come and observe and watch the going ons, but just don't have much, if anything, to add. Its just better. Cause it seems like in the coming seasons it wont be "a couple BBmails to the 3 or 4 interested managers" it will be discussions about what tactic the other team will use, whether they will use GDP or not. There will be a lot more factors. I just could not imagine the U21 and NTs being run without an offsite as a base. Its just wouldn't be plausible.

To scorcher:

If you say that I am too young then I will not be 20 until we are in season 63

What are you even talking about? Who "rated" it in the first place. Before big games and for discussing roster issues, the offsite is needed. Period.

Seriously, who took a big dump in your cereal this week?

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.

This isn't a pissing contest - there's no malice involved here
and I see you've taken well to the advice of friendlier contact with others

I think this is getting out of control. Please stop your subtle, yet obvious, distaste.

@Kumiko. Please refrain from those kinds of posts please.

Also, is it necessary to keep bashing one another over the benefits of the offsite forum? Yes it is overrated as of now, but if we start getting more people signed up to it and have them make some contributions, then it will be useful again.

For those who have never heard of the off site forum or can't find it, here is a link.

1) If you can't remember a login and password, it's not the site's fault it's yours.
2) The offsite isn't just something to look at for 5 seconds and deem useless.
3) You're in a position after this thread worthy of saying who isn't friendly enough?
4) I read every English post on BB.

It would be very refreshing to discuss anything U21 related at this point. Otherwise refer to my post (252159.59)

It's the site's fault to not make it easier to retrieve the information like most others do
where is "Forgot your username, give us your email and we'll re-send"?
Short of finally remembering it, there was no other way than to re-register

2) The offsite isn't just something to look at for 5 seconds and deem useless.

"useless"? your words not mine
"Over rated" - mine, far from useless

3) You're in a position after this thread worthy of saying who isn't friendly enough?

No the advice was be friendlier, finding a dump in my cereal was not the road there

Tell me..Are you ever wrong
perhaps you might have had better players and people might want to train harder for you if your approach was different

Look, we agree on lots of BB related things.

The times we do not, we butt heads.

We can go on and on and on quoting each other back and forth and proving each other wrong. I can do that all day. I'd rather not.

Similar to your "Kumiko doesn't just get a free pass and win the election just because she is running" (which I agree with, I try to earn it) you don't get a free pass for niceness when you aren't deserving of it. And in this thread, you aren't imho.

That being said, us butting heads on a subject once again and the wasting of good delicious cereal have nothing to do with how hard people are training their draftees to feed the U21. I am helpful, knowledgeable, polite, and prompt in communicating to those holding future valuable pieces to the U21 and NT.

If I am coming off a little strong, there was reason to be.

This isn't just some waaaaaaaaaaah! behavior because the manager won't do what I would like. Ex. I'd like OD training instead of 2-position OD training, but the manager has 4 good guards in div3 and would like a stronger overall team defense. Fine with me, if that is what they want for their team.

But if they are doing something dumb like getting a hof potential small forward, nicely being asked to read up on training and ask any questions related to training, and if it's too much to handle, then please sell, they do neither and let the player waste away on their bench getting 20 minutes a week, there's a good chance I won't be nice. Bad sentence structure I know.

If it's bad for:
the player
the club team
Canada

then I won't be pleased and I will say something about it.

Now please can we debate about actual U21 issues.

If you remember me, then I don't care if everyone else forgets.
