I know.

It seems a bit random. I dont know what calculation would give a freshly promoted team the best team in the country as a rival.

I play them in my first home game so the entire season will be compromised - financially.

I think the number of games played between each other plays a role in selection.

I always have the same rival.

Talentinho to which I have played by far the most games against. And when he is not in my league I have Woodbrigde Wreckers, who I have now played the most games against in my history.

So, these are the numbers:

Team record PD L2-PD
1. 1-2 -41 -13
2. 0-2 -32 -32
3. 0-2 -37 -37
4. 0-1 -24 -24
5. 0-0

Rival
6. 1-2 -24 -37

So it could be aggregate PD over all league games played. tie-breaker going to the 'best' record? Or best record, with aggregate PD the tie-breaker.
