His SB is only 2 and ID has just popped to 5 so there is plenty space for improvement. I am training ID at the moment but it is taking longer than expected as he fouls out most games.

might change over time, but in general, probably not.

eg: (18084302)

although i do agree with what everyone else says. If he has low stamina, and low SB and low ID, then these will all contribute.

I have a similar player. im looking at playing him defensively at PF in order to try and minimize his fouls. I just have a sneaking suspicion that when he plays at C, he tries to block everyone. and so he should, but im going to experiment with him at defensive PF just to see if i notice the difference.

His OD is probably 1.

This is the reason of him fouling out.

Low OD could be a factor, but it's more likely that being an injury prone plays a bigger role here. I remember once having a PG with atrocious OD and he was only averaging 1 or 2 fouls per game.

For guards, OD isn't a big problem. But when we're talking about big guys - it is.

You should search the players market for players with 1 OD in II-I leagues, and you'll see that 6 fouls is a common thing for them.

Well, you don't see many players with that low OD in such high divisions, as there's much more greater competition. I do agree with you about low OD playing a big part in fouling, it's just that I think foul prone trait forces players to make more fouls than their low OD does. I could give you one of my players as an example, of course, in a private message, as I don't want to mess this lovely thread up with our little discussion.
