Singing Snipers, San Pedro Speed Stars, Ruckus and SMB Philippines, are all geared up for the League IV.1 Season 22 play-offs. SMB Philippines just listed their crucial W against tOiNkZ that finally took Toronto Smart Gilas, last season's league runner-up, away from the final four race despite having an explosive game against the eliminated Golden Carabaos. If the standings stay the same, the Snipers will be facing SMB, and the Speed Stars will go up against Ruckus, to compete for the knock-out game that will earn them the honor to represent their conference for the league finals.

Meanwhile, Bataan Ballers, RiseOfTheGuardians and Brigada Onse are still in contention for the last quarterfinal slot for the Great 8 conference. The Ballers were led by the Zigmunds-Lozano scoring-machine tandem to take a step ahead of the Brigada and the Guardians. Everett, on the other game, together with rebounding demons Baidins and Zancan helped their team, Brigada Onse to be within striking distance, still for the said slot. Whichever of the three teams enter the play-offs, they will be facing the top-seeded team which can be among the Blazing Comets, Telecom Engineers or VaselineLotion.

Big 8
Quarterfinals:
(1st vs 4th) SS/SPS vs SMB/RUC
(2nd vs 3rd) SPS/SS vs RUC/SMB
Relegation Series:
(6th vs 7th) M0H vs TOI

Great 8
Quarterfinals:
(1st vs 4th) BLC/TEL/VAS vs BAT/RIS/BRG
(2nd vs 3rd) BLC/TEL/VAS vs one of the three
Relegation Series:
(6th vs 7th) BAT/RIS/BRG vs BAB

Bataan Ballers Survives RiseOfTheGuardians, Barges into the Play-Offs

It was the newest member of the team, Luka, who carried Bataan Ballers past RiseOfTheGuardians in a game Thursday night that really went down to the wire. Luka drilled a dagger three-pointer with less than a minute left in the regulation to break the tie at 97-94. The Guardians were not able to convert from their back-to-back timeouts and from thereon, both teams were just able to add split charities to their score sheet. The game ended with a single possession, 97-94, in favor of the Ballers. They will be going up against Telecom Engineers or Blazing Comets, depending on Saturday's game results.

Most of Saturday's games, which is the last set of elimination games, are however non-bearing for most of the teams. Comets and Engineers will be fighting for the top spot for the Great 8 in their own respective assignments. Brigada Onse and RiseOfTheGuardians featured in two different games will be vying for the fifth spot to avoid the relegation series.

Play-off scenarios for Tuesday are as follows:

BIG 8

Any outcome:
Singing Snipers (1st) vs (4th) SMB Philippines
San Pedro Speed Stars (2nd) vs (3rd) Ruckus
Mabalors Halimaw vs tOiNkZ (Relegation Series)

Blazing Comets (2nd) vs (3rd) Vaseline Lotion
