I totally agree that a salary overhaul is in order.

But i dont think that it should be done overnight. (or between the end of one season and the start of another)

i unfortunately, believe that this process should be taken over a period of about 5 seasons.

The overhaul should have an end-goal, and should be incrementally implemented at the end of each season, until the final goal is reached.

The gradual change would allow players of BB to adapt slowly to the new methodology.

eg: If a PG's salary is currently $40k and ou implement a massive change in one season such that it is now $100k, you would bankrupt lots of teams.

However if you implemented this change over the course of a few seasons, such that that particular players salary went like the following. 1- $40k, 2- $60k, 3-$75k, 4- $90k, 5- $100k
This would allow players to get used to the change in a less dramatic fashion. It would also have a lesser impact on the transfer market.

so, im in total agreeance with the idea, but i think the change needs to be more gradual.

a ($$) figure coudl be given for what the salary woudl be the following season if no training or skill drops happen


I like this part.

I think the whole thing needs total refactoring. The fact that a PG can get salary increase when his rebounding stat goes up, but not inside shot, is ridiculous, (albiet, quite a handy little thing to know)

Id like to see it changed without removing the hidden intrococies of the salary component, and on-flow complexities that these things provide. Bececause some of these complexities are fun to learn and discover.

So if they can get the even-ness of the salaries worked out, make it a bit more realistic, without removing the 'fun' out of it, then they will get my supporter money for seasons to come. Until my wife works out that im playing this, as opposed to doing research for work.
