What I'm saying is that not training it slows down the other skills since you'd have an unbalanced player.

Players with unbalanced skills train more slowly than balanced players.

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

what in your opinion is unbalanced??

Guards i imagine need all of the top 6 attributes plus i am leaning towards SB for them as well..

but C seem so random... if they dont have HD/PA do you think this will slow down their development or are you only talking about the Inside skills being balanced and anything else is a bonus.

For inside guys, it's:

Inside Shot
Inside Defense
Rebounding
Shot Blocking

sure - so you reckon even if the rest of the stats were atroc/pitiful this wouldnt affect the speed that these 4 skills trained at vs a C with much better HD/PA etc

4 rotation players, 2-3 blocked shots per game each -- this is 10 potential misses per game. I don't find that pointless.

Second that. I find one of my player doing more and more often 2-3 blocks per game and yes, sometimes games are decided by few points. It is definetely very nice to have and the aspects mentionned about balanced training are precise, as well.

I wouldn't exactly train SB too intensively but I would want it to be at least present in the skill mix of my trainees.
