Seriously it is a nice little touch to have been asked to GM. Over the years I have spent plenty of time around BB and to now be part of an amazing group that gets to handle some of the day to day is pretty cool. When I was in school we all could not wait the day to put a few letters behind our names, now for the first time ever I have letters in front of my 'alias'. A bit odd but exciting none the less.
Hey congrats Beanerz! I've been around for a long time but I'm not a good poster of messages, or private ones.. Though I've been pretty active in the sense of watching games and seeing what has been happening here on Buzzerbeater, but in particluar Canada. You have obviously showed your enthusiam and love of the game.
Just cuz I'm not active in forums I didn't try to run for the National Team Coach a couple of seasons ago. But if you throw your name in the hat your got my vote. You've made a great run to get into the Naismith League and seem to being doing pretty well overall up there. I went the route of developing of some young Canadian Talent rather than get up there. If it wasn't for a 4.5 mil trainer..... lol.... nvm Good to see another Canadian Gm in the mix. All the best!
