You never know what might happen. You could get lucky and a few teams may go bot or there may be other teams that promote into your league that your capable of beating. There is also the chance if you stay in a lower division that you may not promote next season either. Worse case scenario even if you lose every game in a higher league you will get more attendance money and higher tv contract. You would also end up with a top draft pick who could turn out to be a star.
