I had a team back around Season 6 or something. I think they were called the Ottawa Renegades. They didn't last long, because I forgot my password. I decided to give this game another try at the beginning of Season 19. I was really into the cup that season because I ended up being the lowest ranked team in the final 64. If it wasn't for that I might not have stayed.

Insane that some have been here since season 2. I have actually been here since like season 8 but I originally had a team when I went to college in the US so it was based in the US. Did well for six-seven seasons then took a season break which sadly meant my team went bot. Moved back to Nigeria and created a new team in the Nigerian league and been here since season 16 so almost 15 seasons under my belt.

And is also the only player supporting the Nigeria NT at this point haha. It sucks how you're the only one training Nigerian players.

Haa how have you been addchester? I feel there is so much potential in Nigeria and if we could get five of the top managers on board we can build a solid National team

I've been good. Yeah, you definitely have enough managers, it's just that you are the only one training Nigerian players lol. If you could get young guys to replace all the guys over 30, you'd be one of the top teams in Africa.

It is definitely possible to get more than 300 users. Nigeria is large and internet use has become widespread in the last few years. There is also a lot of people who have access to smart phone so they can access this site. I do think we have a lot of people signing up but the huge problem is retention. Few end up staying for long.

The only popular nigerian forum I know of is Nairaland. I guess BB or even I could post an ad in there.

I am definitely open to a unified first division. The difficulties of doing this might be the stumbling block but if that can be overcome it would be fine.

In my experience many educated Africans from many countries (maybe not all) have a sense of continental African pride etc. and I always thought Africans in a game like BB would be okay with a regional or continental league. BUt I don't want to assume, its important to hear the opinion of Africans in Africa if they prefer their nationality league or an African league with better competition/more users.

We sure do take pride in our continent! For now, I think it might be better to have regional/continental leagues so the competition isn't too boring. Problems might arise, though, such as people wanting to play in their country only, rivalries between countries in a region, U21/NT matches, etc.
