Yep, after rejecting probably 30 offers, I finally accepted one two weeks ago, and another on saturday. I still think they're unsportsmanlike, etc., but I've seen enough of the moral high ground. It's time to start winning.

2) you posting on a subject that isn't the interconference win-count

and this makes twice in one week. Don't get used to it.

How many would be in for a default-mtie for all league games? Just wondering. It's one way around the enthusiasm system that would benefit all NBBA teams.

My suggestion from way back in the day (12303.1)

Any other suggestions? If we come up with a good one I'm sure it'll be taken into consideration. Even the BB's have stated the current system isn't very good.

"default mtie", as in you have to notify your opponent anytime you're going to N or CT? Or do you mean like a mandatory tie, where normalling in completely forbidden. I can't wrap my head around the former, and the latter would be really punishing to the struggling teams.

I am intrigued by the idea of taking things into our own hands.

More the former, which is much like the non-so-secret version which is occurring now but more organized and in the open. Anyone in the "mtie all league games" pool would know the tie is assumed against those teams.

Ideally everyone would want to which would put everyone on even terms. I wouldn't be surprised if we got everyone on board just to see the BB's roll out a new system.

I've finally gotten the stomach for these agreements on a game-by-game basis. Those long-standing agreements that some teams have, that's way too much for me. You're right that some of the problems would go away if the agreements were universal, but I'm hesitant to even consider it because if participation in the program was wide but not complete, I think we'd have something much worse than we have currently. A big clique of teams manipulating the system is worse than a few pairs here and there, isn't it? Or maybe I'm underestimating the current situation.
