End of the first part of the season. No big surprise in the blue side where the 3 best managers are already on top. A deception comes from Transmission with only 3 wins and an early elimination of the tournament despite an expensive roster. A second one comes from Union Liège with only 2 wins, but with the goal to train 3 young players each week it's not so surprising. The other teams are where they expected to be even if Krifl is maybe a little bit disappointed and expected more.

Indeed, I think 4 wins should have been possible if I was more attentative with setting my strategy.
The difference in skill on the blue side is noticeable, with 3 teams on top and the last PO spot up for grabs. With the difference in quality between red and blue, it will be even more important to take as many wins as possible, even if that means 1 or 2.
I don't think anyone is looking forward to playing vs the red teams ... especially given how close they are in strength.

I'm wishing all my direct opponents difficult cup draws in the coming weeks! =)

Takis is a loser but not a cheater.
He did something which was against the rules but he did not cheat…I mean he did not do anything which would help his team in an unfair way.
He was just upset because some seasons ago he felt that there was a kind of conspiracy against him and that’s why he did not win the championship.
I tried to keep him motivated (even if I was happy each time he was losing a game) but impossible to change his mindset…

What do you mean exactly ? Did some players get bought by cheaters ?

I've heard there was an investigation by the BB's about a large cheating ring without any precision. Maybe that concerned Takis and if you look at his last sales, you will see that a lot of them (around 75%) have been made to inactive teams since 28/1 or 30/1 (or to bots). To compare, my last 10 sales have been made to teams active since at least 5/2. So it's very suspicious...

That's indeed quite suspicious... Where did you hear about it? I searched the forums but couldn't seem to find anything.

Another thing, The Slammers defense has made another victim!

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit puzzled by this result. I get the whole "great defense and great SB" thing, but it's hard to understand (and to accept) the shoot percentage of his PG compared to those of my SG and SF, given the matchup ratings.

Not as I know but one thing is certain: Takis did not do anything which could give his team any kind of an unfair advantage.
After over 8 years in RLF that he created his Team in Belgium he was banned. If it was for what Joe said it’s a big mistake because this has nothing to do with him.

His PG's had a PP100 of 80 so their shooting % should have been around 40%. It was a little bit better: 45% (in theory his team should have scored 73 points instead of 76). In your case your C/PF had nice PP100 but they have tried very few: 28/75. In theory your team should have scored 69 points. So a loss anyway.

Now why your C and PF have tried so few? Your offensive flow was not very good so your outside players had troubles to find your big men against the great opposite OD. So I don't think your loss is a real upset. Of course with a little bit more luck you could have won but it's definitively not a steal ;)

Joe

Definitely not a steal but still a bit frustrating as it could have massive consequences at the end of the season... that, plus the fact that I'm a sore loser but I guess we all are to some extent

I still think that I'm missing something though. His offensive flow was low too, lower than mine. His players still easily found a way to give a lot of shoots to his PGs, despite the 3-2 zone.

All in all his players shot a little bit better than expected, and mine did worse than expected, as evidenced by my SF who shot 16,7% with a PP100 of 78.

It was supposed to be much more balanced than a 12 points loss but hey, sh*t happens.
