Since MK Kim got injured for two weeks, HT Kim will get some more 1pos training in OD. Won't be enough to catch up with DY Kang, but he'll try to improve nonetheless.

Isn't it rather annoying to see how easy the schedule for Nippon was/ is? They have already gained HCA for the Asian Tournament, if I'm not mistaken. Or are very close to achieving that. And with those opponents, we would have done the same...still, you're doing an incredible job (both you and statsman) and I sure hope that we'll get some results (meaning trophies^^) in the future.

The Junior team held their own and pulled out a vital win against an up and coming Macau team now led by jokeru. With this win, we are heading into the 2nd round with a little enthusiasm to spare, and we didn't have to sneak in the back door, as it looks like Pakistan is going to win their match against Vietnam.

keep up the good work with training, game shapes, and we can only hope for a half decent draw

looking at the standings, doesn't look like there will be any easy games next round.
teams at the top of the pools are extremely heavy. Even our pool has three 5-1 teams moving on. So we'll have to see where we can sneak in a win or two

We were in it for 3 quarters and I really thought our superior defense was enough to hold out for the win, but ultimately we were gassed in the last quarter and couldn't come up with some valuable points. Good effort by the team. We weren't expecting much in this round. Very respectable that we were able to keep it close

Yes, well done indeed. Also your game against Turkey! Can’t be helped that they didn’t underestimate us. Great to see that DY Kang is taking over the leadership from „old“ HS We…probably not his last competitive game but his skills won’t improve over the next seasons. Still hoping they push back the skilldown age a bit. But that’s a slim hope…

Great season considering the opponents. Next season it‘ll hopefully be a lot easier.

Looking closer at the boxscore, I got suspicious. And I was right. Someone didn't want HS We to become the sole all-time leading scoring in korean history. When he tied SB Kim with his 2323rd point, he had to be taken out. Not very nice imho. But well, now we can celebrate both of them this week. And then I guess HS We really wants to show that he's still got a lot of shooting power left to try to take a big lead on the upcoming "young guns" like Shin, HT Kim and especially: DY KANG!

He got injured is what I meant. Not very nice of the opponents from Turkey. Or was it SB Kim disguised as a turkish player? He seems to be retiring. But he always seemed to be a very nice person. So could it just be coincidence?
