By the way, when you have 30 or more players, you won’t be able to place any bids, which is normal.
However, when you have 29 players, you can still place a bid on a player, but you can’t adjust the amount of your automatic bid.

I can see how this can happen, but the fact is that:
1. The system will not automatically bid if you have insufficient funds to match/overbid a counter bid. In that case you will be overbid.
2. You cannot lower your maximum bid if you don't have enough funds to overbid your initial bid. I know this is not ideal and this part can be improved but I still haven't figured out a better logic for it (it gets complicated really fast). So it stays as it is for now.
