I started a mentor thread in the Swedish forum and changed the welcome mail so that it points toward that thread. Sadly though not a single new manager has posted there since it was started.

I think U21 can be a major factor when persuading people to stay.

After each draft I used to send a BB mail to all the users with at least decent U21 prospects. Since U21 player receives only 4 seasons of training, I normally sent a lot of mails because a lot of players qualify as a U21 prospect. So a lot of newcomers, who didn't know what to do with their U21 prospects, received my mail and those who responded, got to learn how to train.

So I realized U21 is an excellent tool to reach to newcomers and teach them one of the most important aspects of the game. Those users normally stuck around at least 3-4 seasons to see their player play for U21 and many of them stayed for good.

Of course you leave out those who sign up after draft and quit before the next draft, but no system is perfect.

the game is too complicated for a lot of people. I have argued this to no avail. secondly a lot tactics dont work right. 3rdly to many restricted.

I think players should be labled a the type of player they are by skill, what kind of tactical player the ity are in the BB market. then make it so many %..

for example player A can play LI 90% right... 2/3 zne 40% right. this would to better built players. these things can change with player building and training.

to me that would help the market, also improve the game towards building players for tactics.

Fine, except that would be impossible to rate because it's all a matter of opinion. One man's defensive small forward is another man's offensive liability, etc.

Of course Mr. Franks. that's the whole point and beauty of it all , if we look this in a more in depth way... The game is built on levels.

A lot of BB player are a certain liability to every team on the market right now, thats the beauty of the game. That shouldn't hinder training and or making him better to our want or liking.

The deeper point is creating better tactical players, with less all the mystery, giving managers the right to experiment also it open other tactics up to be played better from manager experimentation. Which creates more better see and feel data to be conversed on in these tactics, that's not being used. Also a healthy market.

Okay, I don't see the advantage to giving away information by applying labels, especially if the labels might be irrelevant, misleading or just plain wrong.

A couple of reactions to your post ...

For a team just starting out, $300k is a bundle, plenty enough to establish a winning team at starter levels. They don't need $1.5 million players like you think you do.

What you call luck a lot of people would call persistence.

why make a statement when you can make a direct one in better fashion.. You don't see the point , then cease your argument. But don't come complaining on the market has no players for certain tactics or you don't know what your buying for the tactic you want to play .

Right now 90% of bb is playing blind when they buy players. That 10% that know are not going give you a data sheet on how , Now why should they hmm.. some will contact nt coach or w/e and put the player on Nt .Then say to you when they see a player they like, hey you don't have the ability to keep him or train right sell him to me for 2-3 million. Think about that before your next rebuttal.

That was the never case in the past as much as today climate.

Show me a Princeton player on the market to play at least 3 level of play with a 10 rating or better age 19- 24. You cant. But you can find 1 thousand+ li/ lp player in the range, you want data look on the damn market. Show us a 2-3 defensive stopper on the market for under 15k$ ?.. Oh you want to build one., You say .Good luck with that.!!

Like I said before don't come to me complaining for the sake to complain. Cease your argument, if your satisfied then why are you in the thread? Think about your rebuttal before you speak. BB need to more transparent on a lot thing here. Ones the player your buying for the tactics. If manager knew the player was crap they wouldn't sell it. But right now as of today its all mystery and etc, so they can con you. Training don't matter the player is crap they know this. Please put all measures into perspective when you read my post, I should've have to write a 1k page essay to elaborate every fine detail of my saying or point of view.
