The last 2 rounds of the first phase brought new surprises, as the French 56 yo seed #5 performed as a young prospect and is out of the team. The portuguese escaped from unemplyoment but is out of the competition.
The favourite veterans from Latvija and Magyar are going to the next phase, with Gabor Dekany as the best worst PIR of this phase. Crna Gora will be fired and Han-Sub Yang had an excelent poor performance and advance to the next phase.

Today is a rest round, and next saturday phase #2 will begin with the last 25.
