i've had more than one instance of an older player popping in skills. i don't ever try to train an older player, so i figure the pops were results of the random training that occurs each week. not sure what to make of this: the impact of random training is divorced from age? players can still be trained? regardless, a most pleasant surprise.

I had a 37yo pop earlier in the season. Oldest I've seen. I'm not training him but as it was a week I did two position training and don't have 6 trainees, I don't worry about who gets the extra slots so he did play 48 minutes. He hasn't dropped that skill yet either and its been several weeks.

that is exactly what happened -- i did not expect training in stamina/FT/GS would count as "training". i guess while my oldster was huffing and puffing up and down stairs he finally figured out how to improve his RB and SB. what a pro!
