Yeah...It was a good game and we both TIE so I have to be happy. We had two starters out with bad GS and another 13 missed FT's....I just need a 3rd big that can ball. Here is the bright spot...we are 0-2 with a PD of -18 with the two best teams in our group already played against....only gets better from here.

Very proud effort against #16 in the world, you gave us the best chance to succeed.

I must hang my head in shame at the effort of Kawagichi who shot badly and only had 3 assists. I apologise.

no need to hang you head down low. Just train him next week and make sure his GS is cool and he is in. He is a baller for sure...

18/9 is really expensive compared to a 12/12 guy..that is 3 more skill points...but a 14/13 guy would be around the same price as a 18/9. I would also think a 14/4 is about the same price as a 9/9. ....n a perfect world..I would like to have a 12/6 on a player with 18 JS/JR skiil points(on a big) and if I were to have 27 skill pionts of shooting on a SG/SF I would go with 16/11 but that is me. Everybody has their own preferences..
BTW...I read that a 16/12 was cheaper or close to the same price as a 14/14....which one would you rather have?

Second week of training for Kawagichi with no OD pop but again I had an ID pop this time on the Skinkansen. Surely at age 21, 6'3" with a level 6 trainer next week Kawagichi will finally get the pop. I have to confess he only got 46 minutes last week. Stupid coach subbed him out for no reason. Still the Skinkansen with 11/8 OD/ID at age 19 is fairly exciting. I think he can be a real U21 stopper assuming he stays healthy & I keep on defence training.

Yeah...he will pop next week. Thanks for sticking with it...and the shinkansen is getting really good...In 3 weeks(next week Iran, week after New Zealand) we will have a scrimmage. In that scrimmage I will only play 19,20 yr olds. So you will get to see him ball.

Pretty happy with the way Matsumoto's training's going. I have to get him to a stage where he can make the NT at some point.

For sure, I already have him penciled in as a future NT player.

Thanks Yellow cake, I have been amazed by his progress, but maybe it is because this is the first time for ages I havent been spending most of my time training 1 on 1.

Matsumoto wont just make the team he should become the best player on it. Just don't do what some owners did and pump the primaries and ignore the secondaries or his salary will be bigger than his value.
