No, your right. I brainfarted and thought it was the Finals schedule with 3 in one week. So a 2 game series for relegation would be best. 5th is only better if you're running negative each week, or the opponent has a tiny arena.

But wouldn't the relegation series have higher attendance levels, and be less influenced by what happened last game? I hope the last game has no factor in regular playoffs...my fans fucking hate me. 1st overall seed and my fan survey looks like they're talking about putting a hit out on me.

I wanted a game on Tuesday to PON for cup enthusiasm, especially after I saw WW add yet another player. If I went for the win I'd have been counting on Coco beating WW to get me 4th, and I figured that was far from a sure thing. So I decided to tank it and get the seemingly-easy relegation series vs. Boom. The lineup was injury avoidance of course, though I do feel a bit dumb for screwing around with the tactics for no real reason, that was a bit of a brainfart on my end and I sent wozz an apology.

I don't really care about the financial effects, I probably lose some money in the short term (because the rele series is the "salary-unforgiving" schedule) and long term (from next season's fan survey) but you gotta have goals

Holy crap, can't believe I didn't think of that. That's a great reason! (And phenomenal for me)

When do we find out the MVP again? I'm hoping one of my players can get a single vote this season. :)

Usually only playoff teams get players with any votes. And team record heavily influences everything. Maybe because you're 12-10, you've got a better shot than you'd think a 5th seed would.

I'm expecting Pratt to get a couple 1st place votes, but the favorite has to be Toni Alas from Lethargy.

I don't think i played him in enough league games this season. (Used him in like 8 cup games)
While Pratt played all but maybe 1 league game + has good scoring & rebounding numbers. and you've the best overall record. but who knows...

You've also got the 2nd highest rated player in the NBBA, Ives Wens. Who's probably also deserving of some recognition from the voters, but likely won't get any. (since not in the league leaders for any major stat)

But if he's on the Leader Boards, shouldn't that mean he's made the cutoff?

Anyways, a definite hilarious MVP choice would be Bland. KDB reaps the benefits of LMA taking on that salary for the whole season. 18 combined NBBA games would definitely qualify. As for the win/loss, could the win totals for his 14 games with LMA be factored in, instead of KDB's overall record?

i thought that the more game you play the better, but not sure. (i was told that's a reason why Garabalde finished 3rd last season). btw, kind of interesting... Alas hasn't played enough games to qualify for rankings on his player page. but has played enough for the league page.

Looks like bland got erased from the leader boards though. i think it's counting him as 2 separate people? Or at least it's being treated as if he transferred to an entirely new league.

There is no fucking reason for Walker Wiggles to flat out tank vs Lethargy. He can PON sure, but Cup ends this week. There is no reason to save minutes. I mean, Lethargy played his starters, games not over, for his sake I hope he PON'd. But damn, this is crazy. Crazy. Why would Walker Wiggles just flat out go Shoeless Joe Jackson on this?

Sorry, random reference, it came up through drunken kickball...and I am drunk so...yeah...

Again, i think it's the same reason brian suggested, to minimize risk of injuries.

you'll have an enthusiasm edge + HCA, if i even make the finals. no need to worry. i figure you'd really have to screw up not to win the title, so thought i'd see if i could come close to the NBBA record for biggest playoff blowout. (got it!)

btw, shoeless joe jackson hit .375 & had no errors during that world series. & it's doubtful he was guilty of any wrongdoing.
