You chose where is the second team, you assume the fact that timezone are different. You work early and may have game time during work and you want it at that moment, that might be a reason to chose a country. You work late and can't usually see your game, maybe you can profit from that too. You want same hour as usual, well there is enough small country everywhere in the world to have a very similar game time than you currently have.

The current time of the games in my country is really bad for me. Its dinner time, so I cant watch to the las quarter of the game...

I didn't read all the comments but I would like to tell some of my opinions (excuse me if my english is not enough correctly):

-Last comment I have read about u18 team in this game, following the rules of draft selection I think is not possible, althought I like the idea. In fact this is used in football (soccer) manager games.

-Women leagues? My girlfriend plays here and I don't thing she likes that. This is a virtual game, phisical aspects (althougt she is tall, she is very thin to be a great Center) are misplaced, here she can compete on equal terms with men. Women leagues of the first team maybe, for fanatics of this game than need more. I shall not enter to discuss that.

-Like said a IInd division welsh user I am not agree with have a team in other country than yours. Why that? To be possible to supporter teams to have a team (in other country with a few players) in first or second division because in his country it is very difficult? Earn a place in Isrt division is dificult and it has to be dificult. And we don't have to forget our identity. I am not agree with a second team in other country. Somebody has asked about the different hours of matches in different countries?

-Following last point, big teams almost in Spain (in nearly all of colective games), are able to have a second team in a lower division. A "B" team. In NBA they have a "Development League". Why? To train young players. In major leagues is very difficult to train without affecting your results. Then, the big teams are improving their future stars in his second team in the lower leagues until they are ready to play in the first team. Why not? Only for supporters?

Things that I think should be discussed for the second team (inside the first team, I mean: same user, in the same page, in the same session...):

-Price to create the second team (starting in last division of the country).

-Restrictions on the players to play from the first to second team (a young star in second team all the season or be possible to play a saturday match with first team and next tuesday with the second team?).

-Age restrictions in second teams (maybe 25 years old in the second team? Next season the player apear in the first team and he can only be selected to play in it?).

-Always first team on upper division.

-Enter the economy of the second team in the first team economy or to create a separate economy? (I prefer the first option).

-Same pavilion (with diferent prices, of course) or a new one?

These are my suggestions. I guess many people can agree with me as some may disagree or disagree with some points. We must ask ourselves: How we want buzzerbeater evolve?

Jeje, you are right about two things:
1. Your idea about a filial for the second team is great, but should be for all teams in the upper leagues, not just supporters. And one of the reasons to make a second team possible is to increase suporters. Also, lower div. teams could feel at a disadvantage. Did I say that I love the idea?
2. You are also right about your English skills :P

To those worried about foreigners coming in to compete against you, you do understand that the new teams will be horrible with no money and the minimum sized arena, right?

These new teams have ZERO advantage against existing teams. Plus, you have every right to go get a team yourself.

I may be wrong but i think most of managers of first division around the world would be happy to build an arena with more lower tier than they did.

Anyway, like EGM-Perpete said, i'm really in favor of this 2d team option for supporters

It's not about that. It's about the fact we will be forced to play against foreign managers in our leagues. If I play in Lithuania, I expect to play only against Lithuanians and chat in forums in Lithuanian language, not English.

Look, it says in the manual, "fans will buy the most expensive seats they can afford". Or something like that. The point is, bleachers cannot suppress lower tiers.

You're free to build more lower tiers, those extra bleachers aren't hurting you. How much money have you wasted? 3k bleachers, which is 600k dollars. You pay that for one week of salaries!

In fact, lower tiers can suppress bleachers in some cases. And that is your case! You're selling 16k bleachers at maximum price of 20 dollars! Meaning, if you had less bleachers and more LT, sure you would gain some extra money on LT, but you would probably lose more on bleachers!

And don't get me started on how bleachers can be your bread and butter in lower leagues. Let's say you have 8k bleachers and 4k lower tiers at some lower league. Your bleacher tickets are at much bigger percentage of the maximum price, than your lower tiers. That means, you're going to return the money way sooner with upgrading your bleachers. Example, if you manage to sell your expanded seats at full price, you need 10 games to return the invested money. If you sell your expanded seats at 50% of the full price, you need 20 games to return the invested money.

And Lithuania will surely be invaded by a lot of users to replace all 16 users who are talking in a league forum/chat. Lithuania is one of the country who probably will be the less attracting. Big community, but not as big as USA/Italia/Spain, language of its own, not a small country. The middle of the pack for the middle nations will probably not see a lot of new people. Unless people have roots their, there is no reason to come. If they have roots and speak the local language, are they that scaring ?

But hey, if that thing is a no go, it will be a no go. BB is in no danger, money would be nice and helpful, but we can continue as we are.

***

On another note, we may not need a long discussion about arenas. Arguments have been given.

If I had a choice for where my second team would be, I'd choose a country with a robust user base and full divisions of non bot teams down through Div III at least. Starting in Div I against a smaller country's all time best managers would be a bit tough to take week after week. However, that would be fine with me if it was my only option to have a second team.

What is it, that a BB-official thinks he needs sarcasm to take part in a debate he started? You favor this idea, a lot of user won´t follow you. I can share the argument from the Lithuanian manager, because i don´t like to write english in the league board too. It´s a fact, that this idea will change the whole system BB is based on: Every manager plays in the nation he lives. This is the reason, why i like BB more than other basketball managers. And it is the reason, why i would -sooner or later- quit my supporter and the whole game after such a change.
You can answer to this opinions with ur sarcasm - or u could just accept that there are just other opinions than urs, Mr. Official.

Maybe that wouldn't touch Lithuanians very hard, but other nations, you mentioned, would be sufficiently affected. Still, I have read almost everything at this thread and I have seen a number of users who disagree with letting foreigners "invade" their countries and I fully understand them. Well, if they have roots there and speak the local language, no big deal then. And for me it is not a no go, I would love to see this feature implemented just for the funds BB would receive. It just shouldn't be done in this path.
Well said, Faultier.
