Everyone has the same salary floor. You're right that not everyone is maximizing their salary floor. I have minimal contact with Delmado Reds, Plagues and Wild Star, I'm not sure if they are aware of the minimum salary floor. Boston was unaware of it too previously, he didn't really know much about financial management in this game, but still hung around after all these seasons. I did give him some tips and he is indeed recovering, so maybe it's a matter of time before he improves (although it is great to see that he has already gotten a nice arena.

I can understand CMB not investing much in players - after all they're tanking. That isn't something I'd expect you to understand, but I personally have done the same thing as him before (in fact I would have gone 3-19). It's still a gamble, but if you don't do this, you're not going to get your homegrown player who will be raking in the merchandise money in the future (although he has two future franchise players atm, I guess he is aiming for double HOF).

I'm not sure why BIA isn't upgrading. Yes, he's in training mode, but he isn't tanking. So maybe he just never got round to filling up his team. I've previously told him about the salary floor before. That said looking at his roster, he seems to be trying for an all local team. Maybe he just hasn't found the right players? And might have missed out on players such as Joe Asmara.

I guess we just have to remind them to shop at the end of the season - when player prices are low. Also TV Contract depends on the average salaries of the teams in SBBL during the off-season processing. They pick up cheap players to fill up their salary floor, they also get more TV money, its a win-win situation. I agree with you that we badly need to bring up the quality of SBBL, or else it will be hard to compete in B3.

In this situation we difficult to play B3. Now you used more than 1.3mil not included yet staff and arena extra upgrades cost. And you need to pay extra tax cost every week. Whatever your team is rich how long you can survive?

Not sure if you've ever heard of Venomous Scorpions, but it doesn't sound like you have, or I don't think you'd be asking this xD

Our NT,
โ€œ
Our NT is not strong attacking inside and outside.
Our team can level only defensive with other Asian teams.
Currently most players didnโ€™t train well and not maintain stamina also.
Thatโ€™s why better play slow pace. The best is patience. Or inside isolation/outside isolation.
And please donโ€™t estimate opposite team formation. Your estimated mostly wrong and the team results were bad.
Remarks: I mean to NT not U21(not BuzzRBeater)
NT last game luckily won and luckily went to next round.
I hope you can do better in future.

Bro BuzzRBeater,

I hope you will need to move on to NT. Next season you give up U21 better (that is my suggestion), and focus on B3. After that take over NT. This is time to handover U21 to other hand. Because all your trainees time to shine in NT. Just I wish. Decision is up to you.

All as well bro. Good luck and all the best.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, but unless I lose in the elections, or else I don't think I'll move from the U21 until I find a successor. It takes 2-3 seasons to build a good U21, but it takes less than that to ruin a good U21 too. I've experienced it before in my previous country - my fellow countrymen wanted to kick me off in favour of this former US NT coach, and he did so badly that when I got voted back 2 seasons later, the system I took 10+ seasons to build and polish was totally in ruins. Ugly times, it was one of the reasons why I stopped BB until I moved to SG (well it was more of feeling betrayed by my friends who endorsed him rather than him ruining the U21).

That said, LDS has a kid now. V is busy with life and I really appreciate both of them very much for taking time to stay in touch with the game and train players. Fishball... Nah I think he'll be a worse NT coach than Boston, especially with his history of hoarding our local MVPs and HOFs but not training them.

We don't need a NT coach who is good in the game really. We just need someone who's actually interested in the job and is willing to learn. Boston was actually just trying his luck and is probably not aware of the consequences of his actions, so I'm not surprised by him not being serious on the job. I did reach out to him early in his tenure, and offered quite a bit of support and pointers, he did reply occasionally, but that was it. I don't think he even expected to be voted in really. Regardless, if we don't have anyone locally, the only thing we can do is wait for an enthusiastic foreign coach to drop by and adopt our NT. Hopefully someone who can work together with me.

Happy Lunar New Year all!

Appreciate SHP's thought of me for U21 but yeah.. as with others it has become more and more difficult for me to commit to BB.

As BuzzRBeater said, I think most important for NT is someone who is able to commit and dedicate the time to manage, and to learn. SHP has taken the baton long enough and done well over the years, and deservedly stepped down from the role. We can only hope for someone else to step up to it eventually.

Well let's just continue to do what we can in the new year, wishing everyone the best for the rest of the season and for the year of dragon! Huat ah!
