To complement this information how did :

- Duncan doughnuts pick before Sporting Chisinau, so what matters for a first pick is not the standings but the victories? I mean he could have less victories than Sporting (2 vs 3) but still he's above in his standings, unless what matters is overall league standing not conference standing meaning that in the overall league standing Duncan would have finished lower than Sporting

BUT here is where it gets interesting

Cardiff cards, the LAST team of the conference where duncan was and the last team if you count overall league standings picked in first place in all 3 rounds

EVERY single one of these players is a superstar!

Which is weird! If he invested into the draft SURELY he has picked atleast one 5/5 player, granting him atleast one MvP player! And surely, by picking before Duncan he would get the better player not Duncan?

What is even weirder is he has got 3!!! Superstar players in his draft, shouldn't atleast one be worse Potential than the others?

Investigating this issue arised so many questions in me, if someone could clarify them it would be great

Exactly what I suspected, could you clarify the doubts that arised in the post before please? Seems pretty weird he got his 2nd pick instead of his 1st pick having ended last in the conference league

Also check Cardiff's draftees since the user is the last on the overall league position, and he only got superstar potential in his 1st pick, but he got 3 superstar draftees!!

Alright I got you, so the draft picks from the overall record of both leagues not only the conference league.

I'm curious if Cardiff picked all those players with pot 4 and if he didn't pick any players with pot 5, because if he did indeed pick 5/5 players and he got superstar instead then that would be weird as first pick

Fair enough, I think I have cleared most of my doubts here. I just checked all the drafted players and in the league only 1 of those players had a bigger potential than superstar, maybe luck, maybe the draftees were out of balance, maybe the users didn't pick their players well.

I second your suggestion completely, I myself have not invested into draft maybe since 2018 and know many users who are simply oblivious to the draft. With the merchandise boost from homegrown players it should be more appealing right now but few players do indeed invest into draft. If you manage to implement a better scouting strategy it would be great

Also! Just checked some bot leagues in the micronation, some of them drafted pretty good 18 year / 19 year HoF, suggestion: shouldn't these players go to the pool of leagues with active users instead of bot leagues?

As a candidate to the Moldova NT I notice that for a country with less than 10 users it would be so great if there was a way that either

a) These drafted MvP/HoF players went from bot leagues to leagues with active players
or
b) These players would be free agents or released from their teams with 10x or 20x their salary in the transfer market

Micronations suffer a lot from this issue

Completely wrong.
He mentioned specifically Micronations. Countries like Moldova, Bahamas, Pakista, Panama, Korea... That normally have less than 10 users where there's barely any drafted players or players being trained for the u21 /NT.

This would be a greaaaat improvement for any micronation country, since there's countries with 700 active users even with utopia it hardly makes a change in the overall situation of these countries u21/NT honestly and it's quite sad to see my country almost dead last in the standings because there simply is no influx of trainable players available.

Suggestion for utopia teams: Utopian teams should have the possibility to see in the draft any player nationality ONLY from Micronations!

What iVz is saying is release Superstars/MvP/HoF from the bot teams that rot in there for the market when the draft happens.

What is the point on me even playing the game? I tanked a whole season 3 victories 19 defeats and all I've got is a measly superstar... To play as a competitive team in my league? I've got no drive for that if I have no Moldovan players, thus it makes me want to go invest my time somewhere else and not in Buzzerbeater...

In MY humble opinion you didn't understand his suggestion fully because I've seen more than 20 drafted MvP+ players in the transfer list from Polska/Italy/Spain, etc
WHILE NOT EVEN A SINGLE ONE MVP FROM MOLDOVA!

How can micronations aspire to even compete if there is NO PLAYER AVAILABLE for us to train for the u21/NT!?

Micronations leagues need a serious overhaul in the draft system because it's very very disheartening to have all this handicap on us, for me personally as a player affects my BB long term goals and drive to keep playing the game.
