actually there is another more reasonable way he may have played for a few seasons dropped out and just 8 weeks ago rejoined

Thats what I was trying to imply... he learnt the hard way - NEVER LEAVE BUZZERBEATER and have to start again!!

by the way, im training my 27year old pg also, and i was amazed by him. I had him for 2 seasons before and didnt train him because i was training big guys, no i tryed training him i got 4 pops in 4 weeks training only OD (od, id, driving and handling). Im gonna see how much more weeks of training i need to get an OD pop.

I'd be willing to bet that you just got lucky because he had very high sublevels in all of those skills.

If you want to train a player for your National Team, you definetely need to train him until he is 24 or 25.

Have 2 agree with you this.
I have a player SF that i bought last season when he was 23 and was good but still needed some rounding off.Since then i had 7 pops with him getting training only about 2/3 of the weeks he's been on my roster. He got pops in JS/JR/OD/IS/ID considering that he is 6'4" and i think he will pop again this week.I'm going to train him next season seeing that i will change my training from C/PF to PG/SG.These can be due to high sublevels but none of the pops were on the first week of training.

As for ID training DV I have been training big men for the past 3 season and have to say that i didn't get any pops in DV after training more 10+ of ID but not continually.Hope this helps.

so... got a pop on my 27year 185cm pg... it took 5 weeks... but actually he didnt get the full training most of the time, so i can say, after a pop it takes ~ 4.2weeks of training OD to get a pop.

I would consider that training is still doable till 29 but is worth for high levels.I have a 29yo player that is a PG and got a pop in Reb but i don't really have a clue about how close he was with his sublevel.
The thing i see in my div.I is very important to finish your training rotation in about 3 to 4 seasons or else you could stay behind the opposing team.
