So when are you going out this season? Are you taking it all the way to the finals?

my next two cup lineups (assuming i can get past firefly - who already conceded) will not be my best team, but not my worst either. plenty of holes to exploit. if i somehow slipped into the finals, we may have to hold a contest to see if any lucky fans would want to play ...

Lucky draw for you perhaps, but not as much for me.

I got pretty smooth draws in this Cup and I'm glad I got this far but you have to expect *some* resistance somewhere down the road.

Anyhow, you will not exactly get my A-team tonight but it will be something close. I am interested to see if you will throw caution to the wind and screw your game shape for next week.

Torooo vs. Random Noise in the finals... how original.


It's the semis this week, right? And I'm going up against the best-trained, prettiest, most well-publicized SF in the world (just ask HPP). If he's not too busy saving orphans or something, I'll have a game on my hands.

I was going to say that this potential final actually would be original, but I looked back through history and found Törööö and the Sculpins did actually play in the final in season 6.

Hey, just because you bought an expensive PG just before the salary increase announcement, don't take it out on me!

I suppose I deserve the little jibe, though. The truth is that Wendon just won't cut it for my team by the end of next season and soon he will no longer be the starter on Canada's NT. Actually, seeing Abbott's skills if it was me he would probably already be on the bench.

In any case, should be a fun game. I will definitely be playing my best players in all three games this week and screwing my game shape. It is all about the cup, baby!

I would be interested if jbmcrock decides to make a game out of it... Otherwise, it would not be interesting. But I suspect you should be able to get past him on Thursday. Good luck!

I didn't realize princeton would be so strong. It was worthless before the ge change, and I thought it to be useless for my team because of the lack of 3 point shooters. Surprisingly, the ge let's players take mid-range 2's as well.
