I wish you all the best in the voting and may the best man win

Thanks, it's the same for me, good luck!

I believe the most important thing is that the South African users know that we both would do our very best

I definitely agree with you, and why not about the possibility of making a staff together: me, you and those SA's users who want to have fun with us! :P

Hi there guys, I'm Tom and for the last 2 season was the South Africa's NT coach.
I was not planning to go for another season of coaching the NT but decided to register just in case I (as a player from South Africa) am not satisfied with the level of the candidats i will go for another one.

I see u have a nice background when it comes with your origins as a SA citizen so I'm thinking you would care and not leave our NT to ruin :P
I might be mistaken so correct me if I'm wrong but didnt u marco7 run for the election of SA or U21 SA last season, and you said something like you would help the SA comunity and NT even if you dont get elected...yet sadly it didnt happen?
If I'm mistaken then I'm sorry.

Can you guys tell me what are you going to do to help the NT? Also can you give us some background of yourself, how long you played the game, achivements that you are proud of things like that :)

I will leave you to answer the following and I for one will decide if my vote goes to one of you or I will keep it to myself but as I said before I hope it will be one of you :P

Good luck!
Tom

Hi Dlight

Im cool with you being coach again, and would work to help in anyway. I applied for the job as It looked like you wornt going to. What would i change was your question well , If i get the job my first step would be to get as much info from you on the team , even add you to my helpers. Secondly I would try and get more poeple i n SA to play BB so that there would be more managers playing and traing South African players , so that we could get better players in the future. I believe the U21 team is the key to success so i would work very closly with the coach there.

Hi Dlight!

yes, you're right I run for the previous election for SA NT but I wasn't elected.
I wrote here that if any of you (SA's users) needed help I was happy to help him also in case I wasn't elected, but no one wrote me and I often read your forum but there was only a little number of post :)

As I said I've been playing since season IV, I get two straight promotion from IV to II divison in maybe the strongest community of BB (Italy); I'm also one of the scout for the Italian NT, so I think I have a good degree :)

I also want to say that I love your country where I spent another month of my holiday last summer, running from the South coast, through the Garden Route, to Johannesburg. Yes, I'm not a SA citizen but I'm not going to leave your NT to ruin :P

The first thing I want to do is a scouting of all the new draftee with your help (if you want to), than contact their manager for explaining them the best way to improve their ability.
Now before the new NT season there is also a period in which is possible to play scrimmages that can help me to be acquainted with the actual NT's players; I can also convoke the best draftees that belong to BOT for get them to the transfer list to make possible their training.
Last but not least I will be very happy to form a sort of staff making of those SA's users who want to follow the NT and make suggestions about tactics, players or the other Africans NT.

I will be very proud to become your manager!

I'm sorry for my english that is not so perfect :))

To all the Candidates, Its great to see that we have 4 guys really wanting to do a great job. Lets not forget that Dlight has done a fantastic job in the past and i think who ever wins , will be a good NT coach becuase i feel everybody truelly wants to do good. I have a suggestion lets form a task force, the three guys that dont win the vote give there support and knowlege to the new NT and help him in anyway he feels he needs it, I think the U21 coach should also be part of this. Me for one will support the winner 100%. I entered the vote not for personal glory but for the good and glory of the Rainbow Nation and as i see we are very much a rainbow if you look at the candidates. I love playing BB and am i basketball freek, spend hours online looking through all the teams and leagues.

once again good luck to all of you yours truelly SirJaws

What else can I say?
I don't think that anyone of us can do a good job, I think that for manage a NT the manager must have a sort of degree and a good experience in the game.
Right now I see only two real candidate, as you said :), me and sir.
I'd love to be elected and would be a personal defeated for me not to be elected, but I must admit that also sir can do a good job.
So I say: vote for me, you'll have nothing to repent of :P

Hi, U21 manager here :P
I started to play this game a little bit after my dear friend Tom (well he told me about the game) and with his help I manage to build the second best team here in SA C'ship. He has lots of experience and in two seasons he raised South Africa's status amoung the othe other nations and at that time he was the perfect candidate. Dont know if you know about SA basketball history in BB trough the last seasons but if you can take a quick look you will see how things inproved after he took control. One thing he didnt manage to do was to beat Nigeria in Qualification last season (their manager was no1 else but last season B3 competition winner and this season finalist), yet he won the last 2 scrimmaces against him :D
So I think there is nothing more for him to prove at this moment, and a chance was preaty much a must :)
I am quite interested to see what kind of game mentality you will bring because eighter one of you are from differit comunities and I'm quite sceptic about the thing if the other one losses he would still care about helpind :) Nontheless I will give you both the benefit of trust only time will tell :)
As Tom said I will choose one from you and hopefully I will choose the right one :P
The U21 will give all the support necesarry to the new guy elected so dont worry about that :P
Good luck to both of you!

Hi Boss Man

One thing I am going to do if i get vote or not is to write to every SA team manager and get each of you to try and get a least 3 Friends in South Africa to play and register for BB , becuase in the long run the NT will have no chance if SA dont have at least a few hundered managers. As I play in the Swiss league for the last 5 season and have noticed that the NT got better and better the more managers signed up. If we want SA to go foward we need to be able to pick from a bigger player pool. I estimat SA can pick from 250- 300 players, A country like Spain picks from 30000 players. I have a few South African friends in Switzerland playing BB and I have spoken to the they aree wiiling to help by buyiing SA Talents and Training them for the U21 and NT , I see you have some on the transfer list as well as Dlight. So help me find more BB managers for the SA If we can get and extra 15 this season that would mean 45 draft picks next season , where maybe one or two could be intressting for you in the under 21 team and maybe also for the NT.

Hi Boss Man
do you remember we played a scrimmage last season?!? :P

One thing I forgot to say it's that there must be a collaboration between the future manager of the NT and you, the U21 manager :)
Working together would be more profitable and we could easier reach our goals and get the best results possible.
