It is funny how fast some guys pop compared to others.

My 3 trainees have had basically the same training but look at the massive TSP diffrences.

Musashi Ootsuka age 22 93 TSP
Ko Maruya age 21 70 TSP
Ed Okeefe age 20 67 TSP

Ootsuka is 23 points ahead of Maruya & just 1 year older.
Okeefe is only 3 points behind Maruya despite being drafted as a 19 year old & being a year younger.

Shows what happens when you foul out every week.

For at least 1 season I will be doing inside training to round out & get the most from their potential with Ootsuka & Okeefe.

Not worth doing that with Maruya so instead I will be training a 19 year old I just drafted. Disaster potential for a big but he can be a solid backup & should be of use for the U21 team. I think at 7'1" he will train fast, with luck maybe 9 big boy skills this season making him 11/11/10/5 by age 20 and maybe a 13/13/12/7 at age 21.

Takehiko Sakuma (37335994)
Center
Weekly salary: $ 4 778
Role: draws a paycheck
(BuzzerBeta)
DMI: 19100
Age: 19
Height: 7'1" / 216 cm
Potential: allstar
Game Shape: respectable
Jump Shot: atrocious Jump Range: atrocious
Outside Def.: mediocre Handling: atrocious
Driving: mediocre Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: strong Inside Def.: strong
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: inept Free Throw: respectable
Experience: pitiful TSP: 46 (18 + 28)

If anyone is a pro potential calculator I would love to know what they think I can get him to.

Looking at the TL I can see allstars with prime stats like 14/14/14/8 15/15/14/8 16/11/15/7 & 25 total allstar Cs with salaries of >30k.

Trying to be an all local team is getting much much harder there is very rarely anyone even remotely useful. I need to make at least some guys for my team. Maruya has been trained this season & will get trained but not every week. If I sold him I doubt I could find replacement quality ever. Amazing that a 7k 21 year old is now impossible to replace.

I might have to go like the bj-league and allow myself 3 imports.

I have been virtually at the floor making 3-400,000 a week for seasons now. I agree 2 good players is better than 4 bad ones but my problem was getting anyone worth training. Ed Okeefe is still the only guy that is really good, all the rest are badly flawed.

O'Keefe will get some good burn in the U21 this season... but Ko's pretty important to us too.
