The position only affects his starting stats, this means that stuff like jump shot and jump range are going to be higher than the other stats. So if you see like a 7'0" player listed as a PG it just means his passing and handling and stuff will start higher than his inside stats. If you search the TL for Centers under 6'6" you'll see what I mean. The position will change as the attributes change if you train them enough.

actually i prefer that player is set on "wrong" position,in most cases there is almost no need to train secondary skills and you get pops faster ;)

I'm looking for similar players in the draft. I feel if I can find a 7'0" PG or SG, then he'll fit right in with my other 7 footer that I've been working on secondaries for all this season. That way when I want to switch over to primaries I don't have to worry about changing too early or having to choose between which trainee I want to screw up.
