I think im about 1 player away from anouncing my self to the rest of the leauge and my fans :S turns out they arnt as forgiving as me haha

I agree...been watching your progress so far. The question is: when will you be adding that player? ;-)

While I'm happy with my current lineup, in particular how well my boys have gelled, I am still holding off for one final move...

Fair bit of competition this season, not sure when to TIE or CT... Got a tough cup game this week, how are you guys going with Cup?? Looking good for this week?

Noticed there are only a few of us left in the cup. The only way I can win my cup games id if I sacrifice a league game in terms of playing my starters as my cup opponent, Cunning Linguists, knows what he's doing and always goes deep into the cup. I believe I have the team to get him but it will take my best lineup and tactics. Not sure I want to risk my game against Cheap Power for the cup win...

...but we will see what happens in tomorrow's game against GoldCoastSH.

BTW, you're looking good, Kintoc. Your side is quite a bit stronger than my side. Will be interesting to see what happens in the cross-over games starting tomorrow.

I still have one piece to add but not sure when...

Hey Matty

I dropping out of the chase for the title. Gunna build my 2 young big guys for the rest of the year. Sold off all my non relevant players. Will stay competitive and play big time next year. Good luck to you and all the other managers. Should be an intersting season.

Cheers, Adamski. Was wondering what you were up to. Now I know. lol Yeah, tanking (while an ugly facet of BB) has become almost a necessity if you want to get out of tougher divisions. I tanked for a season and a half and still feel another season would have been ideal. Tanking sucks but I am reaping some of the rewards at present.

Tanking allowed me to focus on the dynamic duo (Dogan and Rodriguez), build my SF project (Kirch) who is really performing better than hoped; and allowed me to spend a lot of time and effort chatting and researching the type of bigs to make the starting 5 complete.

The result: A team that has gelled beautifully.

Hey, Adamski. Are you sure you want to start tanking? lol Your game tonight (46264842) was an unusual one. He plays the FCP against you and you take him to town for 146 points. Wow! I'm still trying to work out how he managed to do that given he also put more effort into the game. Sure, you had HCA, but only the tactics seemed to make any sense of the final score. A very interesting game. Hmmm.

Seems Top Prides and I are still in the cup... Not sure how I won last week (took it easy and played 2nd string team), but happy with it anyway... Money is always nice.

Looking forward to our clash Matty... Shaping up to be very interesting. Keeping an eye on you and your purchases come the deadline :)

You're looking good, my friend. I, too, am watching your moves closely. I might add that while we are watching each other there are others floating just beneath the radar I believe...

But yes, mate, this is so much more fun than tanking. On paper we match up pretty well. It will be interesting to compare performances on the cross over games against teams we both have played.

On another note, how do they work out country rank? Is that based on tournament performance? I see you are 151 in Aus and I am 50... There is clearly not that much of a gap.
