That is incorrect.

Upgrading to a higher doctor IS going to redcue the duration of the injury but just that its usually not going to help significantly enough. e.g it might reduce injury time by a day or 2 but nothing significant.

However, prevention is still better than cure so try prevent the injury from happening in the first place.

Ah really??? Is there any evidence on this? I, mylself, have never experienced my players getting injured, so I'm speaking what some managers have said. I'd like to find out more about this bit of information.

Straight from the game manual regarding staff:

Doctors help reduce the severity of player injuries. Once a player is injured, a Doctor will also help him heal more quickly, but the effect is much smaller than the initial reduction in severity.


So when a player is injured, upgrading a doctor will help heal more quickly but the effect is very small like 1 -2 days.
