Well i just got Allsop and I'm sticking to him. I just sorta wanted a prospect in the middle of training 20 yo or so. I have the most
money I've ever had 1.6 million and I was lookin around for a player an I found a few but couldnt get them so now I'm looking for a Canadian trainee, point guard, small forward, or small guard.

Postscript: I found the post, unfortunately he is a power forward.

I just sold a 19 yr old MVP canadian player today for only 400k. you could've picked him up and he looks like he would have been able to step into your lineup immediately and not weaken your team. I have another 19 year old, doesn't have the high potential hurting his transfer value for me, but almost as good, looking to get him a JS pop soon to boost his comparable transfer price.

By the way, I haven't been saying too much because I assume not too many people are interested in the consolation tournament and would prefer to follow the NT games. Maybe that's a wrong assumption, but I have still been posting line-ups for every game in the off-site forum. And I will continue to do so, time permitting. The latest one is already up: (http://bbcanada.forumotion.com/games-f5/norge-canada-febr...).

You think that will work? Possibly. ;) We'll see... The game goes at 1AM over here, so I don't think many will be able to view it, but I will be there. We are clear underdogs, but then again, underdogs are my favorite breed (except pomeranians obviously) with their ability to surprise as as priority one trait to pass on to the next generations. Hope you don't mind me coming in here and trashtalking you into choosing the wrong tactic ;P Btw, check your off-site forum for spies. You are running a risky business by posting tactics in "the open" like that ...no, just kidding. I don't know anything about your planned tactic. Go with what you proposed ;D

Trust me, I have thought about spies. However, I don't really think that games in the consolation tournament are important enough to not divulge pregame tactics... I think keeping the community in the loop is the better way to go at this point.

I would not be horribly shocked if you won today, you have a good team and one of our best players is out with an injury. But it would be a disappointment to say the least.

I'll try to be in the chat as much as possible so I will see you there! I guess you will bring the coffee?

The tactics for the Romania game have been posted.

Also, I wanted to comment that I just got through the 19 year old scouting and will be doing my part of the 18 year old scouting either tomorrow or early next week.

After yesterday's win against a Romanian crunch, we just have to win the last game and we are assured of starting the knockout round on home court. The next game is no push-over, either. Malta looks like an easy win on paper, but we will be on the road and likely facing another crunch.

Uruguay is sneaking up the standings and at the moment they represent the only team standing in our way to getting home court advantage in the next America's tournament.

Brasil, Mexico and Panama are on the outside looking in at the moment - but they are still not mathematically eliminated.

My line-ups for the last two games generated a bit of controvesy, at least in the chat. I don't think anyone was calling for my head but some other options were offered up. Certainly it did not matter this time, we steam-rolled yesterday's game anyways. But tough games are coming and we will need our best line-up out there.

Let me know what you think on the offsite forum: (http://bbcanada.forumotion.com/news-f13/outside-line-up-t...), via BB-mail or right here in the Canada forum. I will not necessarily reply in the open forum, but I will definitely be listening.
