FINALS DAY
After 10 weeks of a dramatic cup which contained blowouts, matches requiring overtime, enthralling encounters decided by very fine margins and shocks to the higher ranked teams, it came down to the final two remaining teams battling it out to be crowned English Cup champions, Los Mikitos and Tatatallfella.

In just the 3rd minute an injury suffered by the SF of Los Mikitos, Wang Junxuan, made the task tougher however both teams had good first quarters which ended 23-23. The second saw Tatatallfella race away, largely thanks to Ivar Miller and Isaac Canning giving them a 17 point advantage at the half time interval.
The third saw the total opposite as Los Mikitos' Peruvian Centre, Ringo Solares dominated inside with a little help from Wlaaedlin El-Osman and great passing from Stuart Madelin. Mikitos then suffered another major setback as a foul by Steve Pierce resulted in Madelin being injured on the play.
Heading into the fourth, the Mikitos team gave it their all but and we're always within a two possession game until Tallfella's scored 8 points in the final minute.
Overall, it was a thoroughly entertaining contest and had Mikitos guessed correct on GDP and not suffered injuries to two starters, the game could have a different outcome.
But the outcome we do have is Tatatallfellas has been crowned champions of the English Cup for the third consecutive year so congratulations to Elmacca on that achievement.

As I started the thread, I would like to end by electing Isaac Canning of the Cup Finals MVP with an impressive 27 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Thank you to all the community who commented during this thread and I look forward to doing it again next year.

Question is, can anyone deny Tatatallfella's of a fourth consecutive cup win?

Woot! Three-peat!
I think we did the monkeys a favour with the first injury, but yeah, the second was a good foul by Pierce and helped us stay in control.

Good game Mikramus. Congrats on getting to the final.

If vottem would lend me connor marshall, I might have a chance!
