My problem with SB in real basketball is that I use to see them as bad defence, because a lot of players go for the block instead of defending properly. Duncan, Marc Gasol, Spliter, they dont jump or block but are very good defenders. Maybe is also that I can't jump...
Anyway, going back to the BB world, I am glad that you explain the GE so clearly to us. I think I am going to try to build inside players with SB in my Utopia team and check for myself.

Key Statement with regard to SB

The only thing you can do is to block him or alter his shot or foul him

So the outcomes of SB as a skill are:
- More blocks
- Less fouls
- More missed shots from your opponent.

The last point is extremely important, because it highlights that SB affects the FG% of your opponent. For inside shots.

Do you know which skill reduce FG% of driving? I feel that OD helps because when my substitutes (with weak OD) comes into play, it seems more driving would be directed against him and goes in most of the time, especially at the guard positions. Does your match data support this?

This is perhaps where the LI dominance comes in.

the guards will drive against ur opposing guards lack of ID. the forwards will take advantage of ur opposing forwards lack of OD (in order to drive).

Hence why SB in a 2-3 zone makes sense, because ur not altering the position on the floor for the good shot, (ie: OD or ID) but changing his shot when he takes it.

Hi,

I think the timeout management is sometimes horrible, today with my second team, 1st TO after 4 minutes, i lose 4 to 2, 2nd timeout, 7minutes i lose 13 to 9, 3rd at the beginning of the 2nd quarter (my team was blewn out after the 2TO), 4th TO after 6seconds of play in the second half after a turnover by my opponent, come on he had 15 minutes to talk before.

Too often, the coaches take a timeout in the first position in the second half, each time i want to kill him
