Showing team names that are part of transfer will unfortunately reveal who the player is. The bot program could monitor rosters and check who left/joined team (compare rosters before and after auction end).

You're wrong. It's easier to fight with registered user who must be logged to collect data. For example unregistered user can't be banned.
Registered user can be stopped by GMs (I expect at least 90% of GMs aren't programmer). Unregistered user of site can be stopped only by BBs.

That doesn't change much. Registered or not, you still don't know who's copying skills. So who are you going to ban?

That will still give him 100 players, and now and then he can type it himself. If he's skilled enough, he can write captcha reader.

Unhackable site doesn't exist. However, if hacker needs to use more costs and effort than value of stolen data, then this security in most cases is enough.
If GMs can't stop user, who needs to download many GigaBytes of data every day as logged user, then I think GMs aren't needed in this game at all ;-)

It isn't hard to recognize who's copying skills by automatic robot, you need to analyze history of log and traffic on site.
If somebody do it manually then he gains for his job less than in McDonalds, so he isn't dangerous, in fact he needs our help and support ;-)
