Hello
Guys i need help with choosing tactice for upcoming play-offs. I clearly have 3 of the bests outside/mid range shooters in league also they are good outside defenders but i have weak centers/pfs. I know that choosing tactice depend also about against who i will play but maybe you can tell me what u think about that.

Sorry for my poor english xd

Generally i am not a big fan of your guide, because i see a lot things different especially the pace which is much more then just the quality of the shots ;)

In most cases, they also change the offensiv weapons, for example if you have a good shooting SF Motion would be the better then Run and Gun because he will take more shots and have a higher impact on the rating. Also paced tactics generally favors teams more who are good in handling, and general have a good flow because without out you would get the struggle with the clock more often who reduced the "percentage" of your shots instead of increasing it.

Also i don't think it is always a good idea, of slowing the pace down if you play against an superior opponent. Personally i would say it is a bad idea in the most cases, because it is very hard to find a shot with a good chanche to go in which will result in more weak and late shots ...* Ok you may say that it works the way you want, because the opponent will have less offense possesions to score, but every possesion you score your opponent can raise his lead and on the other hand even the fast paced tactics won't be that fast because they also don't take the first crazy shot they get. So in general i look for a good performed attack instead of running the clock down, will help you if you are superior or inferior ;)

Additionally, high Stamina is required due to the fast pace of this tactic.

i would say it have low to zero effect, Josef Ka figured out that Look Inside have a smaller impact of the staminda then Low Post tactics on the rating - in general i believe the rating based approach from JosefKA is lot better then this guide so maybe you could take a look at it: (116609.1)

* I have a theory based on my experience, how the pace affect shot selection ;) I believe the system compares the chances of succes with a limit based on the tactic(slow tactics have a higher starting value) who get reduced when the clock run down.

If your PF/C are that weak i think Run and Gun or Motion are your only options. If your PF/C were average and you had your strong guards you could of possibly played a neutral tactic like Push the Ball.

Thanks for this. An interesting approach to writing a guide, using a conversation instead. And I certainly didn't expect to find something like that in Global. Good read.

For someone who's gotten this into the game very quickly, your team has a bright future... There's some good info here, but of course the specifics of tactics are always debatable. And sadly a team's skills/experience trump tactics any day, so I'd look forward to destroying your team with Base Offense if we ever have a scrim :p

just reading through this and thought this was really funny! humour is far batter than trolling.
