Thanks mate, yeah I do not deny the Lakeshow were never a real threat so it was easy to go soft on them. I am hoping as per recent form I should be able to take care of MM and see you in the finals, from there it is anyones game as we have a similar mentality with our teams, both are balanced with depth. Good luck for the next round Neebs, think you will need it and look forward to watching it!

lol why would u not compete in the playoffs??

I'm a realist mate. basically... i couldn't compete.

sold my 33yr old starting PG
enthusiasm was at 5 or 6 after I CT'd neeber in round 21 trying to steal 2nd place.
game shape on a couple key players wasn't upto scratch...

i was going to lose no matter what happened.
so why not get the most out of it for my team?
got over $70k from the game, handy... and now i'll have 6 players getting trained this week.
i'll take an extra pop or 2 over a closer loss any day :)

cheers.

haha my enthusiasm was good and on the most part my GS was good but i wasnt gonna beat the dons straight up so we threw some random stuff in play some young blokes

now just the matter of developing a team for season 16.

been a great season guys

It was a great first round for certain with ACT being the clear winner. The Dons lost their nerve a little and I hope it doesn't cost them, I want them out of the way for next season. Team Beer put more effort into the game than us and we still won by 60 this could be a short series.

It looks like we are a league with a lot of great trainees, you all have an advantage on us as we switch from big men to guards next season, they will be very weak. Considering how high our salaries will be already next season we may have to spend our last million on a trainee not a veteran which will be good news for all of you.

We agree on an ACT vs Dons final but Beasts (and their dirty tactics) and MM will be much harder opponents than Plebs or Lakeshow. Now it will be interesting to see if either side has the nerve to try and win with a PON.

All we can say is Go the Dons and go PABC for season 16!

PS: Menstrals did well but were knocked out of the playoffs last night, but still impressive for first season in d2.

PPS: There are 7 x 5 ball 18 year olds in the draft and we pick 8th. We will be very sad if after all this we miss out.

I think congratulations are in order for the league MVP be High's Woodrow Tabor. He strikes fear into many lesser teams.

Well done on securing all 32 1st picks.

I was happy to see Isaak so highly rated for my team, and somewhat surprised not to Malbasa. He really has been stiffed this season in all forms of voting!

Now hope the play-off teams didn't party too hard at the voting.

nor should he get a vote! we didnt make the playoffs, to me MVP of any league has to make the playoffs at least!

Tabor looks to be a genuine beast.. i would have picked him ahead of chan if there was manual voting any day of the week.

being leading scorer is a cool award to get, but finishing 5th sux ass :D

The MVPs are indeed a little odd. Yes it makes sense that the MVP should be in the playoffs but Chan was on one of the top 8 teams in the league. Also my big men Sow and Diakite were in the top 6 for ratings in the year, top 10 for rebounds and performed well week after week and never got a single vote? Odd.

Still well done by Woodrow Tabor a worthy winner.

Name - we never really liked Mr Ricky, not so happy with Hippo either so another change is coming.

LOL do you choose these or what?

Chan was still the top scorer and shouldve at least got a vote.

my PF got 2 votes on a team that was better than yours on PD and he is 7k salary. surely Chan should be worthy of 1 vote.
