Well, a shock Cup win for me tonight. If you ever needed an example of how poor GS can effect your game check out my game tonight. My opponent, Adelaide Airbornes, had a starting 5 worth $112k to my starting 5 worth $28k!!! And I still won by 22 points! Why, all of his players, each $20k+ salary players, had poor GS. We played at the same level and I got the win. I thought it would be close on account of his GS levels but a 22 point lead at the final change? Didn't expect that.

LOL No, that was the last money I'll earn this season from the Cup. I'm up against an ABBL team now. Even if I CTd their TIE and they played their scrubs I'd probably lose! Ah well, it was fun anyway. Got a good $200k extra in a tanking season; can't complain with that.

Ha, yeah good work..at least now you can test the rest of your team out in different ways, if I were tanking that would be what I would do, out of position training :) BTW Kintoc I will still have some money at the end of the season even with the lose each week with Vitanyi, I had almost 3 mill at start of the season :D As you can see after 2 seasons in a row of failing in G3 of the finals I plan on pushing on through this season!

Wow, that was one serious comeback.. Dunno whether Matty would have wanted to win that one or not.. Don't think your PF made a very good pass first PG either, 47 shots, 2 assists :) lol

Definately didn't want to win that one. Too bloody close. WTF!? Shouldn't have even been that close.

As for my PF/PG, he did what he was supposed to do...train and score. lol [licking his lips] I'm very happy with how my project player is coming along.

I've been in bed for a week and a bit with glandular fever...nasty! Just catching up with what I've missed. I was shocked to see the Knox's recent purchase. WTF!!!

Hope you are on the road to recovery!!

Not sure abot Knox, trying to beat the Vikings I reckon :) Nice to have a 7'1" centre. Hopefully he has someone who can pass him the ball.

What an incredibly odd purchase.. A tanking team way below the salary cap, crazy I might add has just blown away half there profit margin. I will guess that he is planning on buffing this dudes stats as he is only 23 (MVP) and putting some other players in around him next season, this guy should be enough to pull him out of bottom spot but I don't know if he is enough to avoid relegation

Crazy is the word. If avoiding relegation was his only reason for purchasing such a ridiculously expensive player why not buy two 31-33 yr olds for a million who would have had $40-50k salaries and absolutely pulled him up out of relegation. Hmmm. Interesting choice.

In other news...WTF! TMac81...what's the deal? I was supposed to lose tonight's game not win a thriller! lol Mind you, no-one would have predicted my star rookie to come of the bench hit five in a row late in the game to notch up 18 points in 14 minutes! Being a TV game I'm stoked by the win just annoyed given where I am focusing on finishing come end of season.

BTW, feeling better thanks. My first day back at work today after a week and a bit off...hard yakka but I'll soon get back into it.
