Wow again
No attack
Thought you might want to give him his due
you want to be a part of Canada
why don't you just say...Hey...Nice job
You told him there was no way and he won and now you begrudge him his day in the sun
I will be the man here and apologize to you
as in the very first post the set you off
There was no insult made or intended
And
I get to post here as a Canada manager and fan of the country's U21 team
just like any other

BTW
I do congratulate you on winning all 3 scrimmages your U21 team has played so far

Great Job Canada! Keep up the good work Sparky! Great Tactic choice!

we also got kinda lucky that their SG had a pretty bad shot today. (due to great defense probably :p)

So just to understand
First we had no chance to beat either China or Latvia
and now if he would have played it right we would have beaten both
Okay!
I congratulate the U21 manager.
He GDP'd right on both
faked out the Latvian guy to GDP wrong on both
used more enthusiasm and because of all that squeezed out a 3 point win against a far superior opponent
Luck?
I can't believe I'm always the bad guy here
Can't anybody read

No doubt that this is a great victory, congrats Sparky.

Unfortunately pointing it out as you have is kind of taking a pot shot. The current term has been marred by multiple forfeits including one in what I would consider a big game, as well as other disappointing results. If appoligies are in order there is multiple people that should be saying them.

As for the approval rating, it is what it is for a reason. Election time will allow Canada to further voice it's opinion.

Approval rating doesnt matter. Some just set it once and they never bother to change it.
Great win!
Now hopefully good results will come in consolation tournament

Very well
and one would expect that to be your opinion.
And that's fair, like me you are entitled to one.
I do believe however that the pot shot was taken by another as in the quote
had it been me,I would have reacted differently
but alas, so it goes

Still sir you are unfairly negative about the current campaign
as well as other disappointing results

Nobody could have expected a 2-1 record with games against the vaunted China & Latvia teams
thus my call for an apology from you know who
You too could have taken the high road

On another subject
There are 225 active teams and 32 voted last time for U21
Need to get more involved along with the same old tired voices

Bottom Line
Canada doesn't come close to other countries when it comes to level of talent at U21
Our players have been at terrible levels of game shape as well
If Sparky doesn't get back in
I don't see anyone doing any different until we take it upon ourselves to change those 2 points

Completely agreed the interest in the U21 team is at an all time low. Hopefully more people will not only vote but will check the results and give a damn.

Other nations with successful U21 teams often have better NT results. They go hand in hand IMO.

But their players are SO much better

This is the most difficult thing about the U21 job. Results are important but the bigger responsibility in my opinion is player development. If the other teams are so much better it is up to the U21 manager to help develop a system to reduce difference in talent levels.

Of course this is very challenging and in some cases cannot be changed. It relies on an active community (which we seem to be loosing), dedicated managers (we have some but not enough), getting solid draftees and then getting them into the right hands. Being a smaller user base makes it even more difficult as we simply have less draftees and quality managers.
