2nd Round Game 3 : Singapore drowned Hongkong 91-79, 3-0 now.

Unbelieveable, it is three straight now.

Trailing 33-37 at halftime. Singapore started third quarter with 22-7 run behind Fong Chang Chao & Lu Jun Siong hot hands, and found themselves leading 55-44 near end of 3rd quarter. But Singapore come into a warning sign, after starting bigman Halim Mohd Noor had to leave court after collecting his sixth foul.

4th quarter. Singapore still hanging through with Li An Wen starting to score, keep holding the lead 77-67 with 4 minutes left, before HK six-figured-salary man, Kong Say Wee lead a final run to cut the deficit into 77-74 after Yew Lut Hin 3 pointer. Singapore didn't back down as Fong Chang Chao hit another jumper to extend the lead 79-74. Chan Da Ah & Lu Jun Siong also come into the picture, with the most crucial when Lu grabbed an offensive rebounds, run an isolation play for himself and converted a spinmove shot over smaller Mok Cheng Fatt for 83-76 lead. Hongkong run out of gas and keep letting Singapore converting Free Throws, and the game ended at 91-79 for Singapore.

Fong lead Singapore with 19pts & 7rebs, Mohd Noor has 16pts, Lu Jun Siong & Li An Wen each has 12pts.

Hongkong were lead by their hundred million HOF Kong Say Wee with 30pts (12/19 FG) & 14rebs, and followed by Yew Lut Hin with 20pts & 11rebs, but received very little help from other teammate, as none of them scored in double digit.

With the victory over Hong Kong, that would be the first time in the history for Singapore U21.

Singapore will face another big team, Australia, on their next week match.

2nd Round Game 4 : Australia tore down Singapore 101-74 with their big 2nd half

The result is expected, but at least there's a fight.

First quarter looked like their previous game vs Hongkong, as the Merlions were leading Australia 44-39 just before the break.

However, Darren Hartley seemed awaken on 3rd, killing the Singapore stingy defense with his super drive and kick, and suddenly Australia took the big gap 62-53 over Singapore. And 4th quarter is much worse, as Singapore kept shooting bricks and let Australia completely take it over, ended 101-74 for the Kangoroos.

David Garbett & Brock Moghaddam of Australia scored each 17 points for Australia. Darren Hartley had 15pts 6asts & 5rebs.

Li An Wen led Singapore with 16pts but held to 6/21 shooting. Lee Yeow Jie had 14pts, and Li Shi Keng had 8 assists.

Singapore will face tournament host Taiwan on their last game next week. The winner of next match shall advanced to Semifinal of U21 Tournament.

2nd Round Game 5 : Taiwan sent Singapore packing for next season.

With similar power on the court, nothing can beat the HCA no matter what.

Taiwan used strong first quarter 25-12 behind Cai Toon Yee hot hands, and then never looked back, as they looked very desparate to win the game. Singapore barely fight back as Taiwan continue to seize the 2nd half with strong outside shooting, ended up the game with 97-71.

Lu Jun Siong led Singapore with 13pts. Singapore best bigman Li An Wen, were held captive with only 4 points.

With the loss, Singapore will be out from Semifinal hunts. Australia & Hongkong will advanced
