Passing is included in Josef's tool in the Look Inside offense. PF's passing is in a lot more.

I like to out-rebound my opponent when I play RNG. The FG% will be low, so some + in the OR is welcomed. But in general, JS/JR/ST are the skills I look first.

If i was to set up a great 5 to play RnG, here´s what it would look like:

PG: In every PG, no matter tactics, I prefer HA,DV and PA atleast 15, this helps Offensive flow. In RnG he needs plentiful JS and JR too. Don´t care much for the rest except stamina(same for all players) who needs to be high (7+). Then as much OD as you can afford, preferbaly around 16. If I need to lower some skills, due to economy, I would choose JR and JS.

SG: JS16+, JR14+, DV17+, HA15+, PA12+. I guess IS(5+ minimun perhaps) is good to have, but not too important in a RnG. FT is also good to have atleast 8+, since this player probably will be fouled alot (taking many shots, high DV). OD as high as you can afford.

SF: My SF of choice would have high OD and ID, around 12+, maybe more on OD(15+, since "everyone" uses a SG on SF-position). High JS (16+) and JR(12+), DV15+, HA13+, PA11+. Then a very important skill in my opinion för a RnG-SF, RB12+. Probably the best player on the team and most expensive to purchase/train. You probably need to lower a few skills but this is "dreamplayer" in my lineup. IS not so important, perhaps 5+ is ok!?

I don´t know how important JS and JR are for the bigmen in RnG, but I´m guessing that they could take advantage of other bigmen with low/non-existing OD and pop mid-range shots with ease... problem is that bigmen don´t get that many attempts per game, regardless of opposition. So I rank the defensive skills higher in my bigmen then JS/JR. But if I have the money I wouldn´t turn down a PF with high JS/JR and a C with high PA. Also I believe they use a lot of their IS when shooting, since they probably are quite near the basket anyway.

PF: High rebounding 15+, As high defensive skills as you can afford, JS12+, JR7+. IS 15+.
C: Very high rebounding. 16+, As high defensive skills as you can afford. Would not "waste" money on JS/JR but maybe on passing. IS 14+.
Minimun requirements for my bigmen would be 7 in HA/DV/PA.

I would like to win rebounding, giving me more possesions.
I would like to have good IS-threat so they don´t use a 3-2-zone without being punished.

This is a rough sketch, not a standard A1-formula so to speak.

My latest game (38925367) kind of underlines this fact "point guard weighted very heavily, shooting guard weighted medium, small forward weighted medium". I was supposed to be a far superior team, so I had the luxury to spread minutes the way I liked them while playing R&G. My opponent then again kind of caught me, when he was playing FCP.

My Game flow was awful (M). It's quite easy to explain why because I had only 7 players in the line-up and both PG and SG played the whole match. My SF fouled out rather quickly and his sub had better skills in HA and PA.

To sort things out:
PG: 8 HA, 4 PA, 4 ST.
SG: 6 HA, 3 PA, 6 ST.
SF1: 5 HA, 2 PA, 7 ST.
SF2: 6 HA, 6 PA, 7 ST.
PF1: 4 HA, 5 PA, 7 ST.
PF2: ** not shared **
C1: 5 HA, 8 PA, 9 ST.
C2: 2 HA, 2 PA, 3 ST.

What happened? I won with comfort while having a whopping 33 TO's. My C had a total of 6 TO's even though he has 8 DR. I assume he had the ball majority of my possessions. PG and SG got their share of these TO's but my SF position combined only 3 TO's. Then again when thinking what kind of attack R&G is supposed to be (outside attack, with fewer passes to inside), it kind of bothers me how many TO's my centers were able to gather together.
