I have tried signing up so i can take part in the off site forums but my activation email never gets to me!! Can anybody help me out please??

You do not really need the email I have been told. But DireWolf (38624) is the man who approves it all.

Ok, i've found a setting where i can remove the need for email confirmation on sign up.

Whoever has been having issues registering an account, can you please try again and let me know how you go now?

What issue are you having exactly? Can you give me more detail?

I can see at the bottom of the screen that a new user has registered since i changed the setting so it must be working....

For some reason it let me register and then opened up this time, all good.

From the feedback i've had it seems to be working again now.

If you've tried to register in the past few days or even past couple of weeks and had any trouble, please try to register again. You should be ok now.

Is there a reason for this to still be stickied? It has been 12 years since the last post in this thread.

The OP link is dead, and a domain name lookup shows that the domain is not registered anymore.
