Seriously, do you just run into a wall all day, head first? Not one thing you said makes sense. At all.

My whole thing is top league don't get good player as often as the bottom league in draft.

Leagues get random players and random potentials. See, when there are only 16 teams in a top league, but then 64 teams in divII and 256 teams in divIII... of course there are going to be more total high potential draftees in divII and divIII. Do you follow so far?

Which is kinda discouraging when you don't have the fund or really need to do it.. It does seem about right because you should how to run a team at the top and highest level without the draft, but same it not there when you actually need it and players aren't worth dam when do it .

You lost me somewhere near "or really need to do it.."

Its kinda of confusing to me.. I actually feel sorry for top manager because they get mad and quit,.. Its not fair to the game ut if they see the player personality style of play(ie a rebounder ) then maybe some would stick around to stick..

Players leaving has nothing to do with getting mad and quitting because they can't see the player personality style of play.

A lot of manager don't come to forums to share success. Maybe private forums,

False. There are a lot of good managers giving great advice on the forums. Many seasons ago I didn't know shit about this game. Now I do, large part due to forum posts and reading the game manual 5204 times.

But If I ran out of cash in top league its not end of the world , but out if ran out in lower league then. Id close my team,

That would be a damn shame.

Btw before you go all defensive about kumikos post.

She's probably being so harsh because

1. You're in America and still can't type proper English

2. You're talking about stuff un the help forums that others might actually take seriously.

a lot, if not all, of the things you've said has been refuted and explained to you why it doesn't make sense.

If by a good player you mean current skill vs. the standard required for a player to step in and play immediately in that league, it's not a surprise - unless you see 18 year olds with 75k+ salaries and skill sets, there's no way at all that would work. But drafts are random and the same process whether it's USA's I.1 or Polska's IV.4 or Buttplugistan's VII.555. The main difference is that in the lowest leagues, you're often competing against bots who pick random crappy players without scouting, while in the upper leagues the teams that are going to finish near the bottom are going to scout and pick the best players every time.

hehe Buttplugistan +1

The best advice has been given. If you're in the bottom 6 or so (or bottom 4 or 8... up to you) then a lot of times it is in your best interest to scout the draft.

If you're not, don't. Randomize your draft list and hope for the best.

Maybe spend 5k a week every now and then to get a few points ready for down the round when you do finish in the bottom 6. If you have 0 points stored, find yourself in last, and then scout, you're wasting $ by doing 4 pts for 40k. That extra 1 pt for 20k should never ever be used.

This goes for any league, except an all-bot or near all-bot division, where even a top team can scout and get a good pick as long as the computer doesn't randomly take the best draft pick on you.

I think spending the 10K a week makes optimal sense because anything more is overpaying for the points, and storing up the points for the season/s that you can make best use of them is good management.

I can say this because I am guilty of bad management. Last season my league scouting average was very low, maybe 3K, and even though I was drafting last I got overeager and did a bunch of scouting. Found 3 studs. And the team drafting 15th got the last one of them. So I was right that I could have grabbed a great draftee even at the end of the round, but I wasn't right enough. Patience would have served me better, because I got nothing for my draftees. Wasted money. I could have bought a better draftee for the 250K I spent on scouting.

So now I'll refill my stock at 10K/week and try darn hard to be patient for the next good opportunity.

not being rude, it still of time in my opinion,, we don't have to agree.. if others want to do it then been all means do the draft in top.. I don't control those team my opinion is granted to me.. if doesn't make sense to some , then reversed in thought is assumed for them in the matter of choice.

what a manager do wit his team is not killing the game, just his team. So what differernce does it make a person opinoion is . none have argree.

I am have argree, but not leading it to nature so why can not have?

But upper level teams who are definitely relegating and not quitting usually will scout heavily - especially since if they're planning on a couple of demotions, that's an ideal time to train 18 year olds.
