Dunno when it will be done but today there isn't necessity to make this "free" contribution. Probably neither in the future if the injury will be cancelled from National team matchs, that's my point of view ;)


Injuries will be a part of NT compeitions.

well, it shoudn't be difficult to say "no free salary = no injuries", anyway this is absolutely not important, one day I'll make one post in the suggestion forum

The value on the transfer market is higher... simply because many managers like to have players who are part of a national team :)

What, if any, is the benefit to having a player go to the NT? The player is drafted by an owner and then goes to the NT. Is it just braging rights, or monetary comensation from the NT coach?


experience should increase faster (cant' say more because i don't have NT players)

I dont like the salary reduction at all. this is completly unfair and unrealistic.However I would like a experience boost instead. this would make much more sense then a salary reduction.

but in this way that boos should be visible not just something what we maybe get after few seasons... for example 20 NT games = 1lvl.

1 play off game = 3 league games

1 tournament game = 2 league games

1 NT Game = 4-5 league games

that would be one way, I would like.

edit: dont know how much experience a player gets from a normal league game but I guess my suggestion should not be too far away from yours.

It's possible to see National teams where players are taken by friends of the national coach and of course if 2 players has the same skills this coach will chose the player of his friend.

I also don't like a salary reduction, now the salary are still quite low, I think no one team in the first 2 divisions are losing money and also if someone is spending 200k for salary I think it's his choice. The economy in the first divisions is not a problem, if a guy of Vth division wants to have 10 national players he has to pay for it.

There was a very long discussion about salary reduction for national team players a few weeks ago in the italian forum.
I think I can say that a quite large majority of the posts was against it.

In my opinion, the only reason to introduce it is to 'compensate' for the higher chance of injury. But even then, the compensation is quite unfair, as it will be 'a free gift' for those players who don't undergo an injury and a very poor consolation for those who do (a 10% or even 20% reduction will never pay me back if I lose my best player for weeks).

A simple solution would be to play NT matches in arcade mode, or even better, to limit the injuries occurred in NT matches to NT competition only.
