I have no idea if you're right about the number of turnovers, but if you're right the possible explanation could be that faster paced offenses in BB result in taking earlier shots. If you shoot earlier it means that there is less time used (and less passes made) which means the offense has fewer opportunities to turn the ball over/the defense has less time to try to steal the ball.

That's under ideal circumstances where your offense is so much better than their defense, but on the other hand rushed passes and/or tired players would lead to more turnovers than if those same players played a deliberate ball control offense. And if you can't get it into your big man, there's always a safer option.

1. a team that runs RnG usually have better outside player
2. inside focus offence use more big man, and a good big man is still more TO prone (probality of miss catch and unable to kickout the ball)
3. RnG have more open court space
4. inside offence force the ball into the lane(probality of interception), and RnG will shoot at will (a bad shot instead)

In the Game Engine during a Pass, Is the receiving players passing skill calculated into whether or not the ball will be thrown away or not? I doubt I will get an answer to this ;). However I have a player with 10 Passing 10 Handling who this year is avg the highest turnovers on my team (and the highest of his short imaginary career). 95% of them are from throwing the ball away.

Is this because he's apt to throw more passes since his passing level is high thus leading to a few more turnovers or is there more to the equation?

The only stat that could help you if it was availablewould be a completed pass %, this would give you an idea of whether or not his TO's are due to passing a huge amount of times. He may well have for example 50 TO's but if he's made 700+ passes then his TO/completed pass ratio could easily be lower than other players on the court.

But the players they are matched up against might have different OD or ID skills.

i believe also that those skill exist, my long time for example is one of them. He also made nearly no turnovers, in the beginning of the career with the weekest skillset of a guard later on i got 2 pretty similiar one and he beats the other player easily in this category too.

This is the guy -> (3165648)

Season four: 15,1 As/To - Ratio
Season 5: 49 As/To
Season 6: 11,66 As/TO
Season 7: ~4,8 As/TO :(
Season 8: 11,5 As/To
Season 9: 7,875 As/TO
Season 10: ~6 As/TO
Season 11 till now: 7,25 As/TO

Even in his weakest season, i beleive he was best guard depending on AS/TO, weird thing is that this was probadly the season where he was "outstanding" a bit in league today he is more below average depending on Skill for a Starting guard in my league, with handlin 11 and passing 13.

I don't have a bigger sample, but this guy always make me believe on maybe a hidden security skill.

Interesting, hidden proneness to fouling u can understand but you would think TO would be based solely on Passing and Handling skills. Well it should be based solely on passing/handling anyway.
