Its always been train to sell for me and still is but just on less players now.

I've always got in mind who is going to be the next to leave and what the incoming fee will be going towards. I aim to upgrade my sale to a younger and higher potential player which then pushes someone else down the pecking order to be rounded off ready for market.

I'm happy for someone else to undertake 3 seasons of single position training and pay for it.

My only regret is that I have definitely sold off some players too early but in hindsight it is the fastest way I believe to improve.

As the BB's announce match engine changes and we've discovered that certain skills train faster/slower than others I have always tried to factor this into my training regime as opposed to other training regimes which couldve been more suited to the players I own... (i love waiting 5 weeks for 1 OD pop on a 7ft guy :D)

I am really looking forward to the coming seasons where some managers will opt to continuously train high potential players deep into their 20's vs others that will prefer to trade down for younger options. I think it will be interesting to learn if the extra skills that managers are able add to 26-28yo's plus the accumalated experience by these ages effect their performance.

The next phase of the game will surely add more variables for everyone to consider and I think allow the gap from top managers to the chasing pack become smaller.

Something similar happened to me last season, except there was no previous drop. He had never been that high in skill before he popped. 33 years old and popped in OD.

I happend to grab a screen of the event:

And as a side note, this season he is on a rapid decline.
His OD is down to average, and ID down to pitiful. JS and driving down one level each. Good thing he is just a scrub.
